Description of the Lincoln City vacation home rental
Master suite features gas fireplace and large ocean view jacuzzi tub.
This is the best way to enjoy both Lincoln City - but also the Oregon Coast! Visit with friends and family while relaxing in the oceanfront large 8 person hot tub. The ocean view is stunning. September and October have the best sunsets!
Just a few steps down and you are on the beach. If you are a beachcomber you might just find one of the glass floats that the Lincoln City Vistors Bureau puts out each year from Oct to May...they put out 2000+ each year.
Our oceanfront home is located on the north end of Lincoln City close to shopping, restaraunts, and Chinook Winds Casino. The Oregon Coast Aquarium is also just a short 30 minute drive away. Makes for a fun day trip along the scenic Oregon Coast Highway to Newport.
This house does have a 2 bedroom guest apartment that can be rented too. Guest apartment has it's own separate oceanfront yard and hot tub. Property will sleep up to 12 total. Perfect for that Oregon Coast family vacation.

Area Information
What can I say....the biggest attraction is the BEACH! And this house is right on it! You can walk for miles on beach. At low tide you can see in tide pools just a short distance from our house.
Lincoln City is centrally located on the Oregon Coast and offers many activities both scenic and fun. Everyone might think of only the beach & ocean but we have a lake too. The Lake offers jetskiing, wake boarding, boating, water skiiing, and has a great kids park (Regatta Grounds).
Lincoln City also offers, Tanger Outlet Mall for shopping, Chinook Winds Casino for entertainment, and many charming local shops and antique shops. The Oregon Coast Aquarium is just a short 30 minute drive away too - makes for a great day trip along the Oregon Coast Highway to Newport.

Family memories

Our stay on the Oregon coast was awesome! We enjoyed the comforts of this home and were in awe the second we drove in. The view of the ocean was absolutely incredible, especially where we live in the center of the Idaho wilderness. We appreciated the cleanliness and all of the beds! With a large family it is rare for everyone to get their own bed. We couldn't believe how close to the ocean we were staying until we looked out the gorgeous living room windows. The hot tub was also a huge hit for this family coming out of a long Idaho winter. This trip was so memorable as it was our last family get-together before our daughter's wedding this fall. We all agreed that this was the place to come back to with our new extended family. With Lincoln City only a few miles away, it allowed us to shop and dine at a local seafood restaurant, which is a treat for us. The ocean beach was so beautiful and we had it to ourselves. The greatest highlight came on the last day of our trip as we were able to watch a family of whales swim within a few hundred yards from our deck overhanging the beach. It doesn't get much better than that! We will always appreciate this trip and the nice hospitality from the staff at this property. We will be back!

Perfect Girls Getaway

Absolutely gorgeous place to relax, unwind and enjoy the seaside. Clambake cottage is is so beautifully decorated that we didn't want to leave and spent as much time enjoying it as possible. There were four of us girls enjoying a getaway together and there was lots of room so that we weren't tripping over each other. It was very well equipped and everything that we needed was provided. We enjoyed this house very much. Right when we arrived there where sealions feeding in the surf. It was very well stocked and clean. Couldnt ask for anything other than more time here.

Beautiful 180 degree view of the ocean with private beach access. Large view windows in living room and all 3 bedrooms. The bathrooms were sort of lacking but the rest of the house was great.

Nice place. Exactly as presented. The bank of windows is wonderful - great views. The hot tub was great - loved seeing and hearing the waves from the tub. Older home, but they have done a lot of nice touches to update it. Kitchen was well stocked. Fireplace worked great - bring your own wood. Furniture in living room is comfortable. Could have used a couple more blankets for the beds. Nice easy beach access - just 1 minute from the door to the sand. Hotel that manages took good care of us. We'd rent it again.

Girls Get Away

Ten gal pals from my office recently decended on this house for a weekend of fun at the beach and the house was a perfect fit for our group!! The beach access is fantastic and the house is wonderful. We also rented the two bedroom apartment downstairs to accomodate everyone in our party and we could not have been more happy with the accomodations. The house was beautiful with large windows for an unbelievable view of the beach, is well stocked and clean. The size of the common areas really make this the perfect place for large groups to gather. We have all decided to make this an annual trip for our group and this house will be where we stay every year for our trip.

We enjoyed our stay here, it was spacious, but cozy at the same time. The beach was right there. We did not use the hot tub so have no feed back on that. While we were there they had a tsunami warning and the hotel staff came knocking on the door personally to informed us of this danger and to leave evacuation route. All in all it was pretty nice stay.

We enjoyed our stay, the accommodations were perfect for 2 couples, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The view was good, we didn't find the beach access so that was the only thing we were disappointed about. The kitchen was new and provided everything needed. The gas fireplace was a plus. It was smaller than I anticipated, but adequate for our needs. I would reccommend this vacation rental.

We will definitely be staying at this property again. The staff was friendly, the property was as described plus some. Every room in the house has a spectacular view and it was large enough to spread out in with plenty of privacy for all. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Getaway

The house was great. This house is divided into 3 separate rentals. We rented the main floor and upstairs. Master Qtrs upstairs is 2 bedrooms, with a adjoining door that opens up to the Captains Qtrs. which is a bedroom with micro/frig/bathroom with jacuzzi.It had everything we needed/you had a view of the beach from the bedrooms,front room and kitchen. Next time we will invite more people and rent the first mate below. Nice beach acess, not to steep or to many stairs.

Ocean side vacation home

We had an incredible time in Lincoln City. The rental house was amazing. We loved the huge windows that gave us an ocean view from every room. The kitchen was very well equiped, and there were enough towels for an army. We very much appreciated the hot tub after walks on the beach. We took pictures of the house along with our other vacation pictures. Our friends had comments like "gorgeous house", and "what an incredible view". We loved our experience and would love to rent this home again.

A bit of heaven on earth

This was a wonderful experience, private, peaceful and totally relaxing. The view as I laid in bed each night of the white tips of the waves was soothing and the sounds of the ocean music to sleep by. The house could use a few small repairs and new mattresses, overall it was very well stocked, clean, and everything needed was accessible. We will plan to return as it was one of the best vacations yet. One suggestion would be to move the tv, where it is leaves a zero visability due to the glare of the windows.

The deck, hot tub and wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean were are favorite parts. The walk to the beach was a little steep for small children. The nice large deck was great for relaxing under the sun. Would definetly visit again if some repairs were completed. The shower on the north side was not useable, the fireplace needs a door and some walls have paper peeling off.

Best Damn House in LC!

Our three-generation family of 13 converged on LC for a family reunion...we took over the entire Jetty House & it was perfect for all of us. Lots of space for everyone plus a fabulous view. The house was clean & well stocked. Highly recommend it; but not the third week in July '09...we want it!
