Description of the Lincoln City vacation home rental
This superior home is tastefully decorated to give you a comfortable and relaxing vacation experience as you enjoy the views of waves, surf and sand from our amazing Oceanside window filled great room. All furnishings are completely brand new--from the furniture to the linens!!
You 'll never be at a loss for something to do at our home with so many extras including; Hot tub (with ocean views and wind protected walls), ping pong table, Game Cube, PlayStation2, library, TV/DVD/VCR's, wireless internet access, stereo, board games, card games, puzzles, BBQ grill, telescope, binoculars, beach toys, an amazing 81 game stand-up arcade machine (no quarters needed!), or just sink into our comfy couch by the fireplace and read a good book.
'Moonbeams' will fit all your needs with five full-sized bedrooms, open Great room with adjoining dining, fully equipped kitchen, four bathrooms, family recreation room, and two large decks (one with gas BBQ grille and one with the hot tub looking out on the ocean.) All linens provided. Parking for seven vehicles. Check-in time 4:00 p.m. and check-out time 11:00 a.m.
Two upstairs bedrooms: one executive master suite with King Bed and master bath with jetted garden tub and separate shower, one Master suite with King bed and full size futon. Both have wonderful bay window sitting benches with ocean views.
There is another upstairs full bath with shower, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops (with a bar that seats three), adjoining dining with HUGE table for seating up to 14, and adjoining Great room with fireplace, TV/DVD/VCR, stereo, built-in library with sitting area and full ocean-front windows wall to wall.
Downstairs has three bedrooms; two bedrooms have a queen bed and a bunk bed. The bunk has lower full size sitting futon for day use. One of these bedrooms also has a sliding door for private access to the hot tub. The third bedroom has a king bed. There are two bathrooms downstairs, one full bath (with tub/shower) and one half bath off of the recreation room. All beds have Simmons Beautyrest pillowtop mattresses (even the twin bunks!)
The family recreation room has an alcove built-in library with a queen futon sleeper, and adjoining large open room with queen sofa sleeper and love seat, large TV/DVD/VCR, Game Cube and Playstation2. This room also has an awesome, no-coin required, 81 game arcade machine. Family recreation room sleeps four and has slider door access to deck with hot tub.
"Moonbeams" has parking for 7-8 vehicles (depending on vehicle size.) There is parking for at least 4 vehicles behind the house and another 2 or 3 in front.
Beach access is through the Wayside State Park, which is located across the street and three houses south (approximately 150 feet.)

A perfect way to celebrate our 50th anniversary!!

We had the privelege of an early 50th anniversary celebration at this wonderful home with 16 of our family members (children and grandchildren). It could not have been more perfect! Lots of room to hold all of us, a wonderfully stocked kitchen to cook our meals, a gorgeous view of the ocean from the living room window where even our daughter with a chronic,painful disease could enjoy the oean even when she didn't feel up to the short walk down to the beach. There was also nearby wonderful shopping for the teenage girls in the group as well as lots to see in the surrounding towns(aquarium,sea lions,glass blowers,etc).We played games in the evenings as well as made bracelets (with green beads from the Bead Shop) to wear as a reminder to pray for a cure for our 23yr old grandson who has liver cancer (green is the color for liver cancer).The hard part of the trip was that he was not able to be there with us.But it was truly a vacation that none of us will ever forget. If we live to celebrate our 60th we will have to do a repeat trip! Probably by then we would have to rent both of the houses that are side by side to fit all of the extended family!! 5-family getaway

Could not have asked for a better place for our First Annual 5-family getaway! 10 adults/10 kids. The place was beyond our expectations, and everyone raved about the accommodations, amenities, location, cost, etc. And the kids loved the play room, ping pong table, and hot tub! So lovely having a floor for kid play and a floor for adult gathering. The basket of goodies was an added yummy bonus!! What attention to detail and care about the pleasure of the guests! Plus, Chrissy is so great to work with! I have never had an easier time booking a place to stay. It is now Jan 2012, and I am currently booking our 2nd Annual 5-Family getaway for this June. We are all looking forward to it!

Kids loved the arcade game; adults loved the hot tub. It was nice to have a place for the kids to play downstairs and a place upstairs for the adults to visit. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans appropriate for a crowd. There was even coffee, creamer and sugar, and an array of spices. It was easy for several of us to work there at the same time. There is a large dining room table, but we had to also use a folding table from the garage to seat all 16 of us. Everyone was happy with the sleeping arrangements, and we all had a great time. We'll definitely look at this house for our next biennial reunion.

We had three different families stay in this house with a total of 6 adults and 5 children. The house easily accommodated our needs. There was plenty to do with many board games, an arcade game, and TVs and dvd/vcrs everywhere. The hot tub was very clean and nice to enjoy the view of the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of dishes for a large group.

We just returned from a fabulous family celebration. Our parents 80th birthdays & 60th wedding anniversary. 33 out of 39 family members were present during the week of Thanksgiving 2010. The 2 homes provided perfect accomdations for the Great-grandparents all the way down to the great-grandchildren. Each room was beautifully decorated and seemed to fit the needs of the each family. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds and couches were. The kitchens were fully stocked with everything you would need. We all enjoyed the amazing ocean view, but especially those who were unable to walk on the nearby beach. We were thankful to find such beautiful accomodations for our celebration. Thanks Moonbeams and Sunray for making our dream vacation!

Girls Beach Trip 2010

This was the first time we stayed in this house and let me tell you we were not dissapointed! The "Moonbeams" house is a wonderful house to stay in. We had 18 women and it accomidated us nicely! There is ample bed space with multimple king size beds in rooms that are nicely decorated as well. The kitchen has all the amenities and was large enough to allow more than one cook in the kitchen at a time. We had a wonderful weekend and I am sure we will book this house again in the coming years! Thank you for sharing!

Our Vacation at Sunray House

Every year, for the past eight years, 15 to 20 ladies in our family get together and rent a house on the beach for the weekend. This year we chose Sunray House on Logan Rd. in Lincoln City. It is by far the most well stocked, comfortable and homey place we have ever had the privilege of renting. The basket from Harry and David was an added special touch that brought a smile to our hearts and "Yummy's to our tummy's". We had so much fun! YES! How Many Lutherans can you fit in a beach house?

We were expecting great when coming to the moonbeams, but found amazing. Everything we possibly needed was there plus things we would never have thought of. It was so nice to have so many options of entertainment, expecially with 10 kids of various ages. The location was perfect with close access to the beach and a perfect unobstructed view of the beach. The only thing that would make it better would be a butler and a cook. If we come again, we will definately contact you for a reservation.

My husband and I planned a pre-wedding family reunions at this house. It worked very well for this and accommodated many age ranges and types of people. They had many extra like kites and beach mats that we really did not go wanting in any way. Great place to ret, very clean and it felt like a realy home.

Not only was the house absolutely beautiful and everything it was promised to be, but the owners also were very pleasant to deal with. We had a problem initially with the hot tub and the owners immediately sent someone out to correct the problem so that we could enjoy it during the rest of our stay. The view is gorgeous, and the beach is beautiful complete with agates! The owners have provided practically EVERYTHING one would need during a stay at the beach, including beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys etc., etc. It really was an enjoyable visit. We would definitely stay at Moonbeams again.

We had been looking forward to this get-together for months. We had family/friends coming from Arkansas, Vancouver and us from Iowa. We couldn't have asked for a better location, home or weather. It truly was a blessing. I would only suggest one thing and that is a home condition check sheet or something of that nature. I was so stressed out the entire week that something would happen and we would get charged that my family had to tell me to relax. I kept noticing damage and feared it was from us but my friends and family kept saying "no, that was there"..for example, the hole in the closet door upstairs hall. It appears the door stop is on incorrectly and has gone through the door...also noticed each door with a deadbolt had gauges in the frame as if someone slammed the door when the deadbolt was out. Other than that....it was an absolute dream. We will be back...not sure when...but will be back!

My whole family celebrated my 75th birthday at Moonbeams July 14 - 21st, 2007. It was the most beautiful, pristine, well equipped home we have ever visited and we do get together every year somewhere. The owners presented us with a lovely gift basket on our arrival. We held our family reunion at Moonbeams and Sunrays this summer and were absolutely thrilled with our superior accommodations! Both homes were extremely comfortable, quiet and professionally decorated with absolutely no kitsch!
The owners of these two homes have gone to great lengths to supply them with state of the art appliances, electronics and furniture. We were amazed with all of the attention to detail throughout the homes from the fully stocked game rooms to the kitchens that chefs dream of. We comfortably housed 30+ people for 5 days and never ran out of things to do while we were there.
Our entire family unanimously agreed that Moonbeams and Sunrays were the finest vacation homes we have ever stayed in and they are well worth the money to rent!
