The "Ocean Overlook" is a 3 level 2,742 sq ft *4 bdrm (bed in loft)/4 bath Ocean View home w/Wi-FI, HD Digital Expanded Cable, w/4 large TV's, 2 full kitchens, 2 living rooms & gas fireplace, w/4 decks, large covered hot tub, slate pool table, two 7' air hockey tables, & two foosball tables (in 740 sq ft garage), custom built 12' play structure w/tube slide, & large outside gas fireplace w/free wood just blocks from casino & beach.

Always Comfortable

For the second time now the Overlook has been an awesome experience. We really appreciate the care and concern that is taken throughout the year to ensure that each experience here is perfect. We will of course be returning to the overlook in the near future and undoubtedly be bringing friends who will also enjoy their experience too. There's plenty of room and entertaiment that adults and kids all keep busy the entire time. Also we really appreciate that there's 2 washers and dryers, so we dont need ro bring as much. Finally I think the location is great with nice views, smells, and sounds to bring a peacefulness to the entire experience.

We had the best time ever!! This house is one on the best places to stay at!! The beds are so comfortable and loved that they had extra blankets available!! My boys loved that it was like two houses in one!! If you need a place to stay at the beach this is the place for you!!!!

The house was spacious and perfect for a large group. It had a great game room that teens/adults would love and a super play structure for little ones, as well as outdoor space to include the hot tub. Had a couple of concerns that were brought up during the stay which were not a big deal but were taken serious by the very available and receptive owner right away! We appreciated the stay!

Our large group had such a wonderful time staying at this house! We couldn't have asked for better weather! The home was clean, spacious and we totally loved the outdoor space. The kids were well entertained with all the toys, games and play structure. We will be renting again for sure! Steve is so great to work with as well. I would strongly recommend this home for your beach get away!

The house was very nice and very close to the casino for all of us playing in the annual pool tournament. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice home in a nice secluded neighborhood.

Ladies weekend

We had a annual ladies weekend planned and booked this house. We have been going for 15+ years and stayed at many houses over the years. The best thing about the house was: extra parking, nice owner to work with, lot's of towels and linens, kitchen's were well equipped with supplies for large group and location was great. The home would be perfect for 2-4 families with kids. The negatives about the house: Not great for older people, had to have a couple guest just stay down stairs and couldn't join the group upstairs because of steep stairs. Didn't feel like a true "sleeps 20 people" house. I don't count cribs when booking. Windows were really dirty. I would take family back and recommend the house for friends with kids.

There are 3 single beds/1 full for two sets of bunk beds, 3 queen & 1 king bed that sleep 13 guests. Then there is a queen sleeper couch, futon, & two single mattresses that will sleep 6 more guests on temporary beds for up to twenty guests + 2 infants. The two cribs & large rollaway crib are not counted in the mix. The futon will be updated this spring & double bunk bed may be upgraded to a queen as well. Amazing relaxing vacation house! Perfect for kids

We stayed for 3 nights in November, even tho the whether left something to be desired lol we were perfectly happy to stay cooped up in this beautiful house! The game room and game consoles kept the kids happily entertained and they had loads of toys stored there, def a bonus! The kitchen was amazing and the hitting was wonderful! We can't wait to come back in the summertime to enjoy the outside fireplace and play structure!! Overall it was a wonderful house to stay in, spacious with all the amenities! A perfect 10!!

Perfection

I was looking for a place to spend my 30th birthday with 10 of my closest friends and this beautiful home fulfilled ALL of my birthday dreams. We had plenty of space, and the home was super clean. The weather was crummy, but the hot tub made us forget about that. The rec room, layout of the house and quiet neighborhood were wonderful. We could see the ocean from the balcony in the morning, while eating breakfast, and we wished that we had booked a few more days by the time we had to leave. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Location, Awesome Set Up

My friends and I rented this for a 30th birthday. This house is one of the cleanest beach houses I have ever rented. The set up is phenomenal and all of the amenities/electronics are modern and up to date. We had 11 guests and this house EASILY accommodated all of us. Our only regret was that we didn't stay for another night or two. I will definitely be back again!

Beautiful location for family getaway

We stayed at Ocean Overlook to celebrate my in law's 30th anniversary. The house was spacious, tastefully decorated, and provided ample amenities to entertain our large family of 17 (12 adults and 5 children). The location is great, close shopping and still close enough to walk to the beach. While we were there guys went on a clamming expedition and that evening we were able to enjoy quite the family feast in the large dining area upstairs. It was by far the best family getaway experience we have had. We didn't want to leave at the end of our stay! We will definitely be coming back for future family adventures!

Amazing Vacation Home

The home was perfect!! Very clean and well kept. The kids had a blast in the garage with all the Game tables (pool table, fooseball and air hockey) The hot tub was nice and relaxing after spending the day at the beach. The fire place outside was perfect for our smores and ghost stories. The place was big enough for our extended family and the owners went above and beyond with any needs or concerns we may have had. I would recommend this home to all my friends and family and will definately be coming back. Just a few blocks from the beach with an ocean view from balcony and just blocks away from the casino. Wonderful House

We rented this house for 4 nights over the Thanksgiving Holiday and loved it. Both kitchens were stocked with plenty of dishes to accommodate our family to allow for a successful dinner. The game room in the garage was a big hit for all ages with plenty to do to keep busy. There is a nice ocean view from the second floor which can be enjoyed out on the balcony or peering through the kitchen window. It is was just short walk to the store, casino or beach or an even quicker drive. We will defiantly be visiting this house again in the near future. The only thing that didn’t work as good for us was how the rooms were set up since we were all couples with kids. It would have been nice to have 1 queen downstairs with a set of bunk beds and 1 queen in the bunk room with a set of bunk beds. Just a personnel preference however we made it work just fine. :)

This rental beach house in Lincoln City is in a great location with a decent view of the Pacific Ocean from the upper floor. It is easy to access and close to both the beach front and the Chinook Winds Casino, which were within easy walking distances for people with normal fitness and physical abilities. The house is very large, clean, and has all the amenities and household items you'd ever need, even for a large group. The large bathtub inside was great, and we took some hilarious staged photos of sitting in a bubble bath, a drink in hand, and football playing on the TV located in the bathroom! Everyone in my group had plenty of fun things to do, with all the table top games in the garage, board games in the closet, XBOX, or soaking in the huge hot tub outside. Both kitchens were well stocked with every utensil and cooking ware possible, and they both provided plenty of space to make food, drinks, desserts, etc. This house allowed for a lovely retreat with my friends, and I highly recommend staying here!

Overlook house made for a wonderful weekend for my large extended family. The many amenities kept all 10 children, ages 2-15, entertained, which in turn meant a relaxing weekend for the adults. We will definitely return for more family fun.

This beach house is fantastic. It has all the amenities you could want inside, including two floors that both have several bedrooms and a full kitchen. Each floor has its own charm - the bottom floor is the "action" floor, filled with a nice TV and easy access to the hot tub, play structure (for the kids), epic outdoor fireplace and sitting area, and the "game room", which is a big garage with pool, air hockey and foosball - a great place to go and have fun! The second floor is quiet and beautiful, with wonderful views and a full dining room table to go with the kitchen to enjoy a relaxing meal or play a board game or cards in the evening with your friends and family. We have been two years and are going on our third year this fall - it is a great place to spend a few fun days at the beach. A+++!

We just returned from a week exploring the beautiful Oregon coast. This house made the perfect home base for all our adventures. We had easy access to everything we needed. A grocery store, restaurants, beach access and the Coast Highway are all extremely close. There were 10 people in our group and we had more than enough room to spread out and have space to ourselves.Our favorite day was the one we spent hanging out at the house- sunning on the deck and soaking in the hot tub! We liked: large deck with hot tub, several bbqs, firepit, game room in garage, fireplace, 2 kitchens and the kids loved the bunk bed room. Disliked: the cold weather we had! But we don't blame the house or the owner for that. We had an issue with the hot tub- but we got it worked out. The owner was fantastic to work with. He was great with communication and was concerned about our stay. He said he is always making improvements and this house will only get better! If we ever head back to the coast we will stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The house was perfect for our large family and accommodated kids and adults. We were so lucky to have good weather and enjoyed the deck and the fire pit. I would recommend this house for large families. The owner is great to work with as well! We would stay again if visiting Lincoln City.

It was nice to wake up with all the kids and grandkids under one roof it was nice to have 2 washers and dryers it made more time for the beach we had nice weather We did leave the place cleaner than when we arrived I think it will be nice to have some water near hot tub to rinse the kids down the game room was a life saver when we had rain or eve time the kid friendly area was perfect the fire pit was warm and made anice place to chat, need more lighting on stairway to fire pit but we did find the flash lights two kitchens made food prep fast Thanks Steve for sharing your space

Arrived to the Ocean Overlook property and we were very pleased. Seeing is believing. Our family included an infant, three kids, ages 5,12 and 17 and 5 adults. We picked this property because it was close to the beach and had everything we needed. Play structure, games, hot tub, fireplaces, Wi-Fi and two kitchens served us all very well. We had great amenites at a reasonable price. The home is large enough to accomodate all of our needs and well stocked with linens and towels. The owner is great to work with. We highly this property. We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful home. It was equipt with a room full of games for all the teenagers and a nice hot tub on the back deck. It is in a great location with plenty of fun actives to do around town locally. I would recommend it to anyone.

There are also 3 refridgerators, 3 BBQ's, 3 microwaves, & 2 full service kitchens w/2 dishwashers. The nice teak patio furniture unlike much of the plastic chairs/tables found elsewhere will be cleaned up this spring following raining winter season w/pressure washer & teak oil. Interier painting always ongoing & carpet 1rst floor to be eventually updated to wood floors. Thanks again & hope to see you back.

Great Place for a weekend retreat

Just got back from a 3 day weekend and really enjoyed staying at this house. We have stayed at many other vacation properties in Lincoln City but this so far was our favorite. Great location less than a mile from the casino. Hot tub was under cover away from the weather. Loved having two kitchens one upstairs and one down. The game room was loaded with fun things to do. The only suggestion I would make is to have a ping pong table in there. Very nice accomadations. Look forward to staying there again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this home and this is actually our second time back. The home is very spacious and even though the weather was not very great during our last stay the home made up for it and we had lots of space for indoor games and activities. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus as well and we also love that there is a kitchen on each floor of the home. We hope to be back in the near future.

We had an amazing time! Every year in February there is a small group of guys that get together at the beach for my birthday. We have decided this is the permanent location moving forward. This is a great place to stay. We recently went down for Super Bowl weekend. Took advantage of the location, just a ten minute walk to the beach, or ten minute walk to Chinook Winds Casino. The house has plenty of room for big groups. The outdoor decks, patio fireplace and rec room are great. Price was very reasonable for a house of that size. I would definately rent this house again in the future.

This is a great house for large families. It's close to the beach and shopping. There are tide pools right down the road and Newport is just a few miles down the road if you want to hit up the fishing/crabbing charters or just hang out and shop. The game room and playset are great for the kids and there's room for everyone to have their own space. The owners are very easy to work with and I'll be booking this house again very soon .

My friends and I stayed at this house for a a friends Birthday weekend. The house was perfect for the large group that we had. we had been looking for a few years to find a house that would fit us and none of then ever seem to be just right. This one was!!! Having suck a large group and being able to have sleeping spots for everyone was great! we loved the double kitchen being able to cook on both stoves at the same time for all our meals helped out so much. having the game room for the men in our group was an added plus all weekend. especiallywhen us girls wanted to hit up the outlest mall. we will be renting this home again. the owners are such a nice couple and really listen to what their renters want and need.

This home has a very wonderful lay out, the ocean views are spectacular. We saw a couple of adult deer walking down the street, it was very neat. the Master had a large jetted tub. The upstairs kitchen/dying area is very spacious. This place really has something for everyone, space for a large group to congregate, and then at night or for quiet time be in another part of the house with total privacy. The beds were very comfortable. The owners are great people to work with, Very personable. I will rent this home again, we loved it & You would be glad you did.

We planned a trip for all my husbands cousins to get together with their kids, 14 adults, 5 children. We had a blast. Love the kids play structure, hot tub, 2 kitchens and bonus room in the garage. The house was great for the amount of us and for a GREAT price. The owner was great to work with and it was a close drive to the beach. He has some improvements planned for the future that I think will just make our furture stays that much better. One thing we did have an issue with was the outdoor fireplace, wish it was more of a circular firepit, since we were only able to sit a certain distance in order to feel the fire, so it got a little crowded. But everyone had a great time and the house was exactly what we needed.

We had a terrific time. There's much to see and do in Lincoln City, especially with the beach so near. But the house comes with so many amenities that you almost never need to leave! Pool table, board games, outdoor fireplace, extensive play area for children, etc. This house is much more than mere lodging. Also, since we had four children under the age of 4 with us, we were pleased that so many "danger areas" (decks, railings, etc.) are child-proof. This house is ideal for extended families and very reasonably priced, when you consider how many people it can accomodate. But please note that there are three levels to this house, offering different gathering areas, which is nice. However, be aware that there are stairs to climb. Still, there's a kitchen, 2 restrooms and beds on the first two levels (only a bed in the loft), which can cut down on your "stair time," if that's an issue for you. All in all, this is a great place and we highly recommend it.

This is the 4th year we've rented a house in Lincoln City. We all loved the house. There was plenty of room for everyone and we loved having two kitchens. Steve, the owner was extremely easy to work with. I would recommend this house to anyone. It was beautiful. PS: The weather was fabulous.

This home was perfect for our family of 13, and we would definitely rent it again if it is available when we need it. The home is roomy, well maintained, very well stocked with extra mattresses, bedding, towels, kitchen supplies. We enjoyed a lot of family time in the second floor living space, which was spacious and light (lots of windows). The garage game room was a huge hit with all of us, especially the grandchildren. The outside fireplace was fun and provided the means for many very good shmores.

The house is wonderful. Great beds and lots of room. The games in the garage are lots of fun. Ocean views are pretty from the second floor deck. Lots of dishes and pots and pans and plenty of towels. We had good weather - even if we wouldn't have, we had lots of room for family gathering and oodles of laughs! Highly recommend the house for rental and hopefully we will return!

My wife and I got together with 3 other couples to go for a weekend getaway and left the kids back in town with grandparents :) There is plenty of room to roam and stuff to do. Other than going ot the beach Saturday, we hung out at the house all day and played games, BBQ'd, built a fire and enjoyed the hot tub. Great master suite as well. Steve, the owner, was very accomodating, polite and prompt to any inquiry from my first contact through the end of our stay. Close enough to walk to the beach, but great access nearby if you drive as well. Same with the casino.. id say 1/2 to 3/4 mile. We ended up using cab service because of the price ($7) and our party size that made it very easy. Great stay amd the rates can't be beat at this place. I looked at a lot of places for our group and this was the best deal by far.

This house was amazing. I booked it for my organization's annual retreat and the house comfortably slept all 12 of us. Everything was ready to go and set up wonderfully. The house was very clean and there were plenty of supplies in the house to clean up upon check out. The owner of the house was very prompt at returning my e-mails during the reservation process and was very nice and helpful in working with me. The game room was nice, but would have liked a ping pong table, especially because the air hockey pucks were so light that they flew everywhere--therefore, we couldn't play air hockey. The two kitchens was extremely helpful, we were able to keep food upstairs and drinks downstairs where we played games. The house was a bit farther from the casino and beach acess than I was expecting, but it was still walkable. Other than that, great location, and awesome house! My only regret was the weather--it was freezing! Thank you for the experience.

We rented this house with other families for my big 4-0! This house was great for us!! It was HUGE!! The kids played downstairs or in the Garage & the Adults played upstairs!! Very kid friendly, tons of space!! We can't wait to stay there again! The owner was easy to work with and i was able to talk to him and he was very accomidating! I would recommend this house to my friends & family. We are excited to go back and see what upgrades he has finished!!

We booked this home for a two-family vacation (9 people). The bedroom/bathroom set-up was perfect for us; 4 girls (children) had their own bedroom with two bunk beds, adult daughter took the loft bedroom, and the two adult couples each had own bedroom. A large dining table in the upstairs kitchen with views, which was well stocked with everything you could possibly need, worked perfectly as well. We took advantage of the hot tub on daily bases, played lots of pool in the evening and the kids played air hockey. There were also plenty of video games and three or four TVs. Also, lots of decks, partial ocean views, daily deer visits and two BBQs. The location was great as well, with walking distance to the ocean, kite-flying, and even the casino. It was all great and very relaxing!

All aspects of our stay were just great. Large and spacious! We had four families with young children there, and were very pleased with the amount of toys present. "Roads End" beach was a ten minute walk (though we usually did the 3 minute drive), and was an absolutely fantastic sandy beach, perfect for the kids. The two kitchens and living rooms, huge wrap around deck, and the garage with a pool table gave ample visiting room so that even with eight adults and eleven kids we did not feel crowded. Dual washers and dryers, plus a shower by the entrance for coming in from the beach was noteworthy with that many people. The owners were very accommodating and flexible, and seem intent on making the home even better. One note if you need all four bedrooms is that the loft bedroom is open to the rest of the house on both ends so can be a little noisy if there's much going on.

We enjoyed the home, and the owners were very easy to work with. The walk to the beach is short, however, there are no sidewalks and the roads are pretty narrow which was the only negative. This is a great place for a family getaway with teenagers; ours spent most of the time in the rec room and hot tub.
