Description of the Lincoln City vacation home rental

Martha's Cottage is a 3 bedroom 2 bath ocean front cottage located in the northwest area of Lincoln City. A wall of windows greets you when you walk in the door. French doors lead to a wind protected deck and small fenced ocean front yard. One of the bedrooms has french doors leading to a small deck on the streetside of the property, there is a small fenced yard off of the deck. Both baths have tub shower combos. Two main bedrooms offer queen beds and the third bedroom has two sets of twin bunks. The living room has a wood buring fireplace and joins the dining area and kitchen to provide one large living space all on the ocean front side of the property. There is a two car attached garage with an opener for your convenience. Pets are allowed with a non-refundable pet fee. This home is located in a residential area, close to shopping, restaurants and the Chinook Winds Casino.

Lincoln City is a small coastal community 90 miles southwest of Portland Oregon. You are within minutes of shopping, great restaurants or cozy cafe's, golfing, hiking, boating, kayaking, sailing, fishing, bike riding, beach combing, kite flying, whale watching, deep sea fishing, lighthouses, fishmarkets, and more.

Martha's Cottage is Wonderful!

My mom, sister and I stayed there in 2010 and had a wonderful time. The house is just what we wanted and needed. My mom is in a wheel chair and it was easy to get around for her and the view is spectacular! We plan to stay there again in the end of October 2012.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Martha's Cottage. The view was wonderful. We did enjoy the beach a great deal and the house had everything you could need on vacation. Only thing we would change was the list of rules. Seems every where you looked was a "don't" list. It was the only thing that made us feel uncomfortable and every time someone went to do something, we stopped and asked is that ok, check all the lists. Could use binoculars, will remember to bring our own next time. Our goal was to spend family time together and the house gave us that opportunity.

The cottage was just as pictured. It is beautifully placed on the beach with tide pools to investigate and discover many wonders of the ocean. Our Golden Retriever was also in heaven with both fenced yards in the front and back. The teenage girls relaxed and slept very comfortably in the bunk beds and enjoyed long walks, kite flying, and volleyball on the beach. We all will have memories to last a lifetime. A teeny-tiny pit more......

This is a FABULOUS hse. The layout is GREAT, and the view is SPECTACULAR!!! We are going to arrange another trip in Febuary & want to stay there again if possible. The only thing we really would have liked to have had would be a few games, Sorry, maybe some Dominos, cards (the deck there has only 42 cards). A small table on the deck and a pair or two of Binnoculars if possible. The hse is totally a-okay we loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank You So Very Much For Having Us & Hope To Get The House In Feb..

The house was nice and clean inside. The place had great views of the ocean and a little park. There is a park behind the house. There are stairs two houses down to get to the park. The park has a play set, a volley ball net, and fire pits with benches. The beach access is literally right across the street, but you have to walk down 123 steps to actually walk on the beach; so not a good place for people who can not do stairs or for older animals. There is also a ramp access about half a mile away from the house.

We spend two solid days just amazed at the oceans beauty. The house is so nice to wake up and walk out just above the beach. Then you walk out the door and you are on the beach. Everything was just fine and perfect for a weekend get away.

Wonderful Home!

My family of 8 stayed at Martha's Cottage the 1st weekend in February, and couldn't have had a better time! Even in stormy weather, we spent lots of time on the 7 miles of beach--our lab thought it was heaven on earth : ) The house was so comfortable with every amenity--we slept like logs and ate like kings. Never a bathroom or kitchen issue--all was well thought out and planned..This is the most incredible bargain in an ocean front house ever, and we're so thankful that we were able to squeeze in the reservation in an already busy February. Thank you to the owners for sharing your home with us, and thank you to Casey and Ken who made it so easy. Have told lots of people about the house and we can't wait to come back!
