Enjoy our newly-built log home cottage alongside your own private 125 acre lake that provides year-round beauty! This property has it all, whether you are into leisurely kayaking around the lake to view moose and local wildlife, or looking to take on some of the local adventure! The property provides access to interstate snowmobile or four-wheeling trails, fishing, hunting and canoeing. White-water rafting, hiking and Maine's natural beaches are all within a short drive. Your private, cathedral ceiling cabin complete with loft and walkout basement features a fully stocked vacation paradise. Sit back and enjoy the views from the beautiful deck in the middle of nature!

Area Information

The property is outside of Burlington, ME just 10 minutes from Lincoln where restaurants, grocery stores and gift shops service the locals. The town square is centered around a lake used for seaplanes!

Sportsmen: Fishing from your private lake or nearby Penobscot River known for the best smallmouth fishing in the country. And don't forget ice-fishing for the winter! Hunters take aim for miles of bear, moose, turkey and deer using nearby guided services or game lands.

Adventure Seekers: Local adventure service offers white-water rafting, tubing, hiking/climbing and skiing. Property offers kayaking, canoeing, swimming and trails for 4-wheeling and hiking. Cross-country ski or snowmobile the trails on property or connect to interstate system.

Sightseers: Breathtaking Baxter State Park for camping or hiking the beautiful mountains surrounding Mt. Katahdin just hour away. Gorgeous Acadia National Park allows for shopping in Bar Harbor, car touring/hiking Cadillac Mt., or enjoying a lobster meal near the beach just 2 hours away. Discover the seashore or head for the mountains, the views are plentiful! Shopping less than hour away in Bangor for those rainy days.

A Peaceful Dream come true vacation ..

If you are looking for a true Maine vacation, complete with the amentities of home, and a peaceful private setting, this is for you. We loved the fresh smell of the woods , both inside and out, and sat outside on the porch enjoying the scenery after a long day of hiking in Acadia Nat'l Park, Visiting Baxter State Park,Bar Harbor, as well as Moosehead Lake. We shopped in Bangor about an hour away, and just 10 minutes away there was a grocery store, walmart, gas, and even a ColdStone!! We woke up every morning and went out on the Lake fishing, and kayaked on our "lazy" day all around the lake. We had the lake to ourself ! We especially enjoyed going out at dusk and photographing the beautiful sunsets and listening for Moose. One night we heard a bull calling across the lake,...The kids got so excited...There is a small dock from which you can fish off,and my 5 yr old son said that was his favorite part. The bedrooms had mattresses that were top of the line, and made us realize why we weren't sleeping so well at home...There's a big screen Tv w/ a DVD player, so we enjoyed a movie every night before turning in. If there is any downfall at all, it would be a shortage of space for a sit down meal, but we made it work just fine. Aside from the fact that anywhere you stay in Maine to see various attractions is a drive, coming back to this home was so well worth it. We cannot wait to plan our trip next year.The owner was extremely accommadating, friendly, and available if we needed to call and ask a question.. If you love the outdooors, want a place that is quiet and secluded,this is a place for you..I would also say it would be an ideal place for honeymooners or a couple needing some quality time away from it all..You cannot get more peace and quiet than this property!!!!
