A rare find next to Jerónimos Monastery, it was from this VERY site that Portuguese sailors set off to discover new worlds in the 15th century, the villa is a perfect place for your own Lisbon discovery. Oozing with history, romance and gourmet delights you couldn't ask for a better place for an amorous getaway, a vacation with family or friends, or a post or pre cruise stop over in Europe's favourite capital city destination of Lisbon. This original 19th C' little town villa is full of charm with beamed ceilings, original shuttered windows, marble fittings and polished terracotta floors tiles, it happily sleeps 6 in its 3 double bedrooms. The villa is on ground level with only one of the bedrooms up a flight of inside stairs making it very suitable for seniors or people with mobility problems. East facing to the street there is however a private sunny atrium with patio table, chairs and parasol for outdoor living. Furnished with a mixture of antique pieces plus comfortable beds and seating, the villa boasts all the modern amenities to make your stay comfortable. Transport is very easy with the modern tram and buses to the centre of the city from stops just outside the villa. A car is definitely not necessary, but street parking, and nearby car-park are free, if you wish to take advantage of villas great setting with its easy access that avoids the inner city traffic to the main roads South over the bridge, the Portuguese Riviera, Sintra and beyond.
