Description of the Litchfield vacation cabin rental

Spacious lakeside cabin on beautiful Tacoma Lakes. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the outdoors with swimming, boating, fishing and other watersports. Lakefront lot located in a quiet cove on Woodbury Pond, the largest of the Tacoma Lakes close to a public boat landing. Large porch overlooks the lake. There is a private, sandy bottom wading area with dock(park your boat here). Open floor plan has two separate open lofts for bedrooms, living area, kitchen and bath. Level lot includes firepit, gas grill, screen house, kids playhouse, picnic tables etc. Pedal boat, canoe, life jackets, yard games, outdoor furniture and more included.

Note to those with physical limitations; the steps to the loft are quite steep.

Area Information

Litchfeld is just 15 minutes from Augusta or Lewiston for shopping. Ten minutes from the interstate. Just 40 minutes from Portland or 2 1/2 hours from Boston.
Nice small town with corner store with pizza, subs, and ice cream shop right down the road.

the grandkids loved the cabin with it's unique ladder that went up to the loft that had a bedroom on each end connected with a really neat walkway. The water was not that deep for swimming but it was perfect for someone with small children

My family had a great time and my grand kids did not want to come home. Water pressure was not the best but we made do. Wish the cabin had central air conditioning though. Some nights were hot. Some of my family and friends are interested in renting it also. It was a very good stay and will rent it again. Lots of nature for the kids to observe and learn.

Cozy, Private, and Amazing set up!

This cabin offers privacy, the cozy quaint feeling of "camp," easy access to the water, private dock area, outside fire pit, and just an overall amazing set up. Close to the local beach and nearby towns to shop. My family had a great wek we look forward to staying here again!

This place was great, every morning I would wake up and have my coffee on the front porch and listen to the loons. The cabin was neat and cozy and the fishing was great. My two boys and the dog had non stop fun. The only down side is we had to come home. We can not wait until next year.

this place is fabulous,the grandkids had a blast fishing,catching frogs and eating smores by the fire.The Adults had fun boating and fishing also. We would rent this camp again. Only drawback not much water presure to do dishes or take showers.
