WOW...what a great vacation. Laura's condo was exactly as listed...beautiful location, completely outfitted, close to the beach and filled with everything we needed. Pack only your swimsuit, shorts, and a book.
Laura was very attentive, emailing us often, and answering all our questions. Once we arrived, JC - the property manager, met us at the airport, took us shopping, and answered all our questions about the area. He gave us recommendations on what to do, and where to eat (be sure to try Mufungo. He was very gracious, gave us his cell #, and was always available to our needs.
While Loiza, is an impoverished area, we never felt unsafe. The condo is perfectly located for adventure and exploration, only 20 minutes from El Yunque rainforest (take the hike to the pools), and 35 minutes to San Juan (skip the Bacardi tour...what a joke)instead go the fort and cruise around town. If you can do only one thing....go ziplining. Then sit back and relax at the pool, spa, & BBQ.

Our family spent the Christmas holiday together here and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The Aquatika facilities are lovely and the condo was clean, stylish, and well-equipped. It had everything we needed. Your thoughtfulness and thoroughness were clear and greatly appreciated. We can't wait to return. Thanks!
LOVED IT!, April 23, 2009
What a great place! Loved Aquatika and all it had to offer with the beach, pools and mini golf. Your place just took it up a notch with beautiful simple decor that was warm and inviting to us all and stocked with pool toys, beach chairs, clubs, games, books, etc. You name it, you had it! Everything we needed to enjoy our week. We only ventured out around PR 2 days of our stay, since we were having so much fun at Aquatika. So with that and deciding a week is not long enough, we hope to return sooner than later. We have and will continue to recommend your place to our friends. Thank you again!

Laura:
I can not thank you enough for opening the doors to your beautiful unit for
my group. They loved every minute of it. I had two cancellation last minute
but all in all I was able to fill their spots. I have to tell you that you
really have great taste in decor. I am a lover of interior design, oh my and
the property was fabulous. The scenery was breath taking.
I love the fact that you thought about every detail from the books to read
on the beach to the chairs to sit in. Oh and all the appliances in the unit
are top notch. I must have blended a thousand pina coladas.
I could go on and on about the unit. There was only one issue we had , we
could not stay longer and we had to force ourselves to explore the rest of
Puerto Rico.
You are truly blessed to have such a Gem in Loiza.
Thank you again. Hope to see 7402 soon again....

This was one of the BEST vacations ever! The accommodations were luxurious and beautifully decorated. Although the neighborhood was very poor, the complex was breathtakingly gorgeous and very safe. Within the complex there are several pools, a lazy river and a waterslide. The ocean was only a short walk from the condo (about 2 minutes) and could be seen from the balcony. Laura left an amazing book with information about the island as well as things to do. Juan Carlos, the property manager, was extremely helpful and was full of suggestions regarding restaurants and ways of getting around Puerto Rico. One of our favorite activities was a trip to the island of Culebra (Flemenco Beach). We can't wait to return! Definitely a favorite destination!

All 3 generations had a wonderful time. The facilities were as promised and the furnishings were excellent. Part of our group could have used instructions for the use of the TVs. The unit manager (Juan Carlos) was a huge asset. He even called one morning to warn us about beach conditions. The only negative is the lack of local restaurants. The trip to San Juan was not overwhelming but after a day at the beach I would prefer to eat locally

Just spent a week at Laura's Aquatika condo and found it to be all she said it would be. Full kitchen with everything necessary, great beds! The washer and dryer were a nice asset and a lovely view every morning.
The grounds keepers woke us up twice mowing, but then they were done and it was quiet the rest of the week.
Laura is very professional and prompt as is her on-site manager. Excellent experience with the business end of things.
there is a little grocery right outside the gate which we could pick up odds and ends as needed. The area outside the complex is fairly poor in comparison with the luxuries of the complex, but we never felt threatened by that. We were safe within a very secure area at the resort.
The beach isn't very long for walking but is really pretty for relaxing and enjoying the sound of the sea.
Thanks, Laura for the availability and kind service to us, Sue

Beautifully furnished, clean, modern condo just steps away from a gorgeous and secluded beach. The applicances are new and it has a very well stocked kitchen so you can save money cooking if you like. It has a big screen tv which was nice, and tv's in the bedrooms as well. The facilities at Aquatica are terrific. We were there during the middle of the week and it was deserted. We had the whole place to ourselves. Definitely get a rental car if you are going to stay here as you will need it, but it is centrally located on the island - only about 30 minutes from the airport, Old San Juan etc. And we took an excursion to Culebra which was easy to get there from the condo. Laura is very easy to work with and she hooks you up with a great guy, Juan Carlos Serife, who goes out of his way to be helpful.
3 generations ages 10-74 had a terrific time. Laura's place is beautifully decorated and well stocked with all the necessities of home and fun toys including sport balls, tubes, and even pails and shovels for younger children.
The balcony offers a fantastic view of the ocean and pool area. Other than the units directly on the beach, this one(the next building in from the ocean) is the best location. The condo is on the second floor which to all of us is the most preferred. The beach is beautiful and if you walk to the left, you can go on forever.
Laura was extremely patient in answering all our question and we would love to go there again.
Be aware that the complex though not far from anywhere is in the middle or nowhere. If you want to get a cup of coffee or an ice cream, there is not a place within a 20 minute drive. We kept the great kitchen well stocked with all kinds of goodies.
We went to the rain forest twice, Old San Juan twice and Loquillo Beach also twice - we had

Puerto Rico was amazing and the condo was perfect. We were here in July for a week with our 2 teenage sons. My sister and her husband who live in Florida joined us for 4 days. The condo was perfect for the 6 of us with every posible amenity. We ate breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beautiful grounds and pool and every night when we returned from sightseeing we would swim in the pool. We did everything we possibly could and ate our way through the island. Juan Carlos was very hospitable and helpful in every way. We will definitely be back.

I'm a native of Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, but living in the U.S. This year, I wanted to show my husband and children a different part of the island, away from the usual places we visit when we go to San Juan, but close enough to enjoy Isla Verde, El Condado, Luquillo, El Yunque (our famous rain forest), and particularly, the Eastern side of the Island. We were particularly impressed with the complex and its beautifully landscaped grounds and fun pools. Laura's apartment was absolutely beautiful, tastefully decorated with all the amenities anyone can need. Juan Carlos was there to greet us when we arrived and took care of anything we needed during our stay. We look forward to coming back to this wonderful piece of paradise in P.R. The children, my husband and I are forever grateful to have had the opportunity to visit and stay at this magnificent complex. If you are looking for tranquility and beauty under the sun, Aquatika 7402 is the place for you! Kudos, Laura and Juan Carlos. ¡Saludos!

Christmas time found five of us back in PR. We have been there over 20 times and this was our first at Aquatika. Laura was terrific when we made the res. and JC Sifre met us at the airport and helped throughout our week long stay. The pools were not crowded and the weather was great. The condo had everything we needed. The applances, a/c, beds, everything was great except one tv. Laura was so upset the TV didn't work she refunded part of our payment. Anyone here needs a rental car and we travelled to some gret dinners in Old San Juan, Loquillo Kiosks.. gambled at the Wyndham RioMar. Everything is convenient even though nothing is across the street. We recommend Aquatika in general and 7402 in prticular. Have a drink on the balcony overlooking the ocean and realx.. We did.

Following a cruise in and out of San Juan, we 3 retired couples rented this unit for 10 days as a base for touring and sightseeing in Puerto Rico. The unit is beautifully decorated, with top quality kitchen appliances and pillowtop mattresses on the beds. Great sleeps for us old codgers! The resort complex is fantastic with numerous pools and gorgeous grounds. The beach is not extensive as it is enclosed by rocky 'points' on either side of the complex's property, but it was a nice spot to sit and sunbathe or just veg out and enjoy the surf, sand and sun. In all, in our opinion, comparable to a 5 star resort stay! Special thanks to Juan Carlos Sifre, the owner's rental manager. He was tremendously capable, full of info. and suggestions and is, simply, a GREAT guy!
