Loiza is situated just east of the San Juan airport (SJU). As such, it is ideally located between the attractions offered in the northern and eastern regions of the island, allowing for a short drive to many activities.
Northern Region
The capital of the island lies within this region. San Juan is the center of commerce and is also the main port of entry. This is the most populous and economically diverse region in the island. It offers the island's major resorts and shopping areas and promises you a wonderful experience of diversity and culture. This region has lots to offer -- archaeological and historical exhibitions, beautiful beaches, forests, and fine dining.

Eastern Region
This region is home of El Yunque, known as the Caribbean National Forest, is located in the rugged Sierra de Luquillo, 40 km southeast of San Juan. Catch the ferry from Fajardo to the outlying islands of Vieques and Culebra, both known for their secluded beaches, snorkeling spots and spectacular views. A must see is the phosphorescent Mosquito Bay. This rare and remarkable phenomenon is caused by millions of luminescent dinoflagellates lighthing up when disturbed by movement. The region is also famous for its fresh local seafood and romantic sunsets.
Top spots: El Yunque, Luquillo Beach, Natural Reserve of Mosquito in Vieques, Las Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve and El Faro in Fajardo.

Start your island get-away out feeling comfortable in your surroundings. Our representative will greet you in person at the San Juan (SJU) airport's car rental location of your choosing. From there, you will be escorted the short 15-20 minute drive to the condominium complex. Visitors who wish to stock up on groceries or other necessities for their stay will include a stop along the way at the supermarket to make any desired purchases.
Upon arrival in Loiza, a brief tour and orientation to the complex and condominium unit will get you off and running on your vacation. Rest assured that our representative will be available for any problems or concerns that you may have for the duration of your stay.
The Aquatika complex offers guests a wide range of vacation pursuits. The development features multiple pool areas, including jacuzzis, a water slide, water falls, a lazy river (inflatable floats provided), basketball courts, mini-golf, tennis courts, sunning and lounging areas, shaded areas and green space. The grounds offer lush tropical plantings, palm trees and flowers.
The main club house area offers guests a small fitness room, climate-controlled seating with television, as well as a covered terrace with outdoor seating and a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean.
The Aquatika complex fronts the Atlantic Ocean and provides direct beach access. The beach is beautiful, with comfortable sand and clear, warm waters. Grab one of the beach chairs and the rolling cooler provided in your unit, and head here for a day of fun and sun.

great time, August 19, 2008 We had a terrific time at Aquatika staying in Penthouse 5303. The property was so comfortable and nicely decorated. The owners definitely have a sense of all the amenities families need when vacationing. We were able to really relax whether it be in the lap of the hammock on the rooftop or in the multiple pools around the resort. We never lacked for something to do or beauty to behold. Some of the highlights for us were the Playa de Flamenco on the island of Culebra (not to be missed), Richie's Restaurant on the cliff overlooking Rio Mar Resort, and eating the most delicious chicken from El Verde on Rt. 3 just as you cross the light from 187 East. We have now entered back into reality in Chicago, but fully intend on returning to Aquatika for another trip to paradise! Brian, Michele and Kayla - Algonquin, IL
Aquatika is an amazing place to vacation. The pools are not crowded, there are adequate lounges and so much to do for children. There are many pools and at times, some of them were not used. The landscaping is lush with continuous care. The condominium is beautiful with very comfortable furniture. We enjoyed the living and family rooms with large screen televisions. The rooftop patio is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the warm evenings. Rent this property and you will enjoy every minute. A car is necessary. It is really a great place for your vacation. We went there in Feb 2008. The resort has excellent amenities for families or couples. It is close to San Juan and in the same time it is a very quiet area. The beach is not crowded. We went with some friends and we all decided that we would like to go back again. The penhouse is a very nice place to stay and it cannot compare with a regular 3 Bdr apt. I recommend this property because it has much better value than a hotel reservation. Tanya, New York
Just returned from a New Years holiday week at Aqautika Unit 5303. Wow! What a relaxing, clean, well-kept place to escape from winter. There were five of us total and the space was plenty big. Three separate seating areas if you count the outdoor rooftop patio. Some of the best naps I ever had were on the rope hammock on this patio. The cool comfortable night breezes through the unit are just fantastic. We rarely ran the air conditioning. The grounds are expansive and well kept, with plenty of space for anyone, kid or adult. I have spent more money on a tenth of the space in San Juan. And here everything is brand new! Would definitely go back. Email if any questions. Robert, Madison, WI
