Very Comfortable, Nicely Furnished, Great Location

My wife and I rented this apartment for the the the entire month of March, 2013. We have vacationed in Puerto Rico for 4 to 6 weeks every spring for years (since 1967). This apartment is one of the best we have ever rented. The apartment is located in a gated secure complex on the beach. There are two very nice pool areas, both with playgrounds. The beach is a very nice, sandy, and is can be walked for miles. There were no crowds on the beach. The penthouse of the apartment is very large, with shade and sun, and is private. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything but fresh food. The refrigerator has an ice maker, and the apartment has a washer and dryer. The apartment has two large bedrooms each with two windows, an air conditioner, and ceiling fans, There are two bathrooms each with a window, a large living room/kitchen great room, with two balconies for great flow through breezes, At this apartment, you will probably want a rented car. There is a small grocery/pharmacy within walking distance. Large grocery stores (Walmart, etc.) are less than a 15 minute drive away. There is a large discount shopping center (good for rainy day shopping) about a 15 minute drive away. Next year we hope to return to this apartment, and bring our grand children.

Peaceful stay, outstanding hosts!

My recent stay at this property could not have been any better. The apt was immaculate, spacious, clean, and had everything we needed to have a very comfortable stay. Madelin and Kevin were super sweet and flexible (as my travel plans changed due to inclement weather) and were quick to respond when I reached out to them. The apt is located in Loiza, about 20-25mins from Isla Verde past Pinones kiosks but a great location if you want to be out of San Juan and closer to Fajardo, Luquillo, El Yunque (20 mins tops to the rainforest). I usually stay in San Juan but thought it would be nice to have another experience and would definitely do this again. You have private access to a secluded beach, volleyball, tennis, and basketball. Gym is VERY basic but a better workout is running along the water. Just an fyi, which was not at all a problem as the apartment always had a great breeze coming through, was that there is no air conditioning in the living room or kitchen. As I said, the location of the apt provides for a nice breeze so AC wasn't at all needed. Walmart is 10 minutes away and Bahia Golf is 10 minutes in the other direction. Hosts were great and I would definitely recommend to anyone, especially families!! THANKS FOR A WONDERFUL VACATION MADELIN AND KEVIN!

We stayed in this condo for three days. The condo is very well stocked! With two beach chairs and cooler! Close to the private beach and pool, about twenty minutes away from Wal-mart... The complex is secured and safe... will recommend to family with children

Million dollar view

Overlooking a great infinity edge pool and the Caribbean Sea, the condo setting was beautiful. Apartment was very clean, well decorated and comfortable. We were two couples, so second bedroom was too small but would be ideal for kids. Very nice people to deal with and all in all a wonderful vacation setting.

Wonderful and Relaxing!

The condo was as described. It was very inviting and homey. The complex was very safe. It was great to have the pools and beach at such close proximity. It was great to sit on the terraza at night and listen to the coques sing. We hit a few community restaurants that were awesome. Do not let appearances fool you. The food was delicious. We enjoyed our stay very much in Loiza and would recommend this apartment.

WONDERFUL!

First I must say Sally the hostest greated me with a hug and I knew my vacation would be wonderful. Sally was so kind and sincere and very helpful! She constantly called or texted to check on me and my party. Gave wonderful tips and suggestion!. The condo was a dream very comfortable and clean and cozy. We felt safe and even kept the patio doors and bedroom windows open for most of our stay. I could not believe there were no bugs flying around lol. Cooking out on the terrace was also soo divine! The condo was well stocked with towels wash clothes cleaning supplies etc it was indeed a home away from home and I will be back I am sure! 5 Stars is simply not enough. Be prepared for the 4 flights of steps though lol. We had a lot of baggage to bring up but its not their fault we are out of shape lol.. wonderful wonderful wonderful!! You will not be disappointed. They have Pools on the property very close to the condo and the beach is on site as well. Security gurds are also constantly walking the gounds very safe! I will be back

Marvellous Vacation

Just got back this Sunday. We loved the Resort Villa Del Mar. The penthouse apartment was gorgous - the views amazing. The resort was quite and had all the amenities! I could hear the bird sing early in the morning from the balcany! My thanks to the owners and also a warm thank you to Karla the hostess and her husband and daughter. They were wonderful.

I loved it the property manager was a sweetheart and helped me with everything I needed. The rental unit was exactly the was it was pictured no smoke and mirrors and the view of the rainforest at night was beautiful. I will definately plan on staying again the next time I vacation in P.R.

Fabulous Vacation!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at probably one of the nicest decorated units in the complex. They had everything we needed and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Everything was immaculate inside this gated, safe community. The kids had a wonderful time at the pools and many times we were the only ones there. The beach was right there and the sunrises were beautiful. We never shut the windows and didn't use the air as the breeze kept us at a perfect temperature and we enjoyed listening to the ocean and the coqui frogs! One of our favorite things to do was to sit up on the roof patio and enjoy the beautiful views and the quiet peacefulness of this part of the island. Our hostess was a dream. She was always accessible, there were no problems ever with the unit, but she was always ready to answer questions or help us. The whole family were like angels to us. I missed my flight home and they picked me back up at the airport and let me stay an extra night!

Penthouse Apt.

We had a wonderful time Dec. 26th though Jan. 2nd. Loiza is a quiet place to stay, centrally located between San Juan and the east coast. As with many of the resorts, don't let the local real estate off the main highway fool you, there are great quiet places to stay between the highway and the coast. The upper deck gave us privacy to sunbathe, grill and we enjoyed the fireworks on New Years Eve. The gated security was also a nice feature.

Paradise on Earth

My family and I stayed at this apartment over the easter holiday. The penthouse unit is luxurious and very comfortable. This unit is in a very peaceful beachfront neighborhood. The pritine aquamarine beach is gorgeous and is just a few steps from this unit. The roof top terrace is unbeatable ranging from sun bathing to grilling and sipping mojitos at sunset. We enjoyed many attractions on the island ranging from casinos, golf and shopping since everyting in PR is just a short drive away. The hosts are super friendly and helpful.
