Area Description

Located in a residential area in Hackney in central-east London, in an up and coming area with lots of young families and artists. Lively, multicultural, but also a poorer part of London. Loads of nice and cheap restaurants, cafes and galleries in the area. The flat is two mins walk from Clapton train station which takes you to Liverpool Street station (the City of London) in 12 mins. Loads of buses going straight to central London (in 40 mins) and to other great local locations in no time.
Walthamstow Marshes and River Lea (a canal) are just around the corner, so are lots of green spaces, a riding school and an ice skating rink.

Lots of galleries in the vicinity, quite a few cheap markets and some lovely parks. A great cinema 1 mile away plus several good and cheap restaurants. This is local London like Londoners live. A lot cheaper to buy food and go out than in central London.
