Notting Hill has fast become one of London's most popular residential areas, abounding with restaurants, bars, shops, and the celebrated Portobello Market. Kensington Gardens, Holland and Hyde Parks are a few minutes walk away. Nearest tube is Notting Hill.
Area Description
This is the perfect apartment for experiencing the bohemian and beautiful Notting Hill. Situated between Portobello Road, famous for its buoyant Saturday market and Ledbury Road with its luxurious boutiques, it offers the best of the area. Hyde Park is ten minutes away by foot, as well as Notting Hill Gate Station. It is also conveniently close to Heathrow airport (approx. 35 minutes by taxi outside rush hour, or 30 minutes using the heathrow express via Paddington).
The location is superb for all manner of local shops and entertainment, as well as the famous Portobello Road market. There are several cinemas, the infamous Gate Theatre, lots of restaurants etc. and amazingly unusual and varied shops to suit all tastes and budgets. There are also many organic and vegetarian food outlets, and lots of irresistible cafes.
The world famous Oxford Street/Regent Street shops, West End theatres, museums and galleries are minutes away by tube.
