Description of the London vacation townhouse rental
Large and well appointed town house overlooking Wellington Park and Gatehouse.
The Royal Arsenal is a historic site along the River Thames. Access to all of London is fantastic.. also ideal for shows at the Excel and O2.. whether you are an exhibitor or visitor.
The Royal Arsenal has its own Tesco Supermarket..and a 'Gastro Pub.. the Dial Arch. There is also the Royal Artillery Museum and cafe.
Most of the area is pedestrian only.
Access to Central London is fast and easy..via Train, Underground or Boat.
Three of the bedrooms have a double aspect windows, with sofa's and a desk in each room. the floors are either polished wood or carpet, one of these rooms has it's own en-suite.

Set in this Historic Conservation Area stretching along the River Thames in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The Royal Arsenal and Military Academy date back to the 15th century.
The Historic Royal Artillery Buildings and Gate House are overlooked by this Regency stile House. There is Private Parking for One Car on drive. Also suitable for Motorbikes.
Thames river boat service leaves from a pier just by house direct to Westminster, it also stops at the O2, Canary Wharf,Tower of London and other places though there is a faster 'Express' option that stops less. A Tube link under river direct to London City Airport 5 mins (DLR), continues on to Canary Wharf and Tower of London. Trains go direct thru Greenwich to Charring Cross passing London Bridge, or to Waterloo. The Station, Town centre and market are less than 5 mins walk, as are restaurants, cafes and a vibrant fruit market. The Thames walkway goes past the house as does a Thames cycle route.

The Artillery Museum is situated on-site, and has it's own Cafe and is great for kids and adults. Also on-site is the Dial Arch Gastro Pub & Restaurant.. there are quite a few different events throughout the year on the Royal Arsenal site..both musical and historical..
Olympics.. We have a second house available.. exactly the same as the other.. But we are limiting numbers at that house to 10.
We have lowered the rate to £5000 per week..and we are offering the possibility to stay for a minimum of three (3) nights.
The Rear Garden is small but private. With some plants. The park at the front of the house is an ideal place to sit in the sun. There are also grass areas along the river 1 min walk away, you can sit on these and have a picnic. We do supply some picnic blankets. We can also arrange picnic baskets or sandwiches. Traffic is very limited in The Royal Arsenal, the speed limit is 5mph (8kph), most of the area is Pedestrian only. As mentioned previously, we can assist with arranging dinners, cocktail parties etc at our Beautiful Hall which can be made available for family or business.
