Description of the Long Beach vacation condo rental

Close to everything, the unit is in a charming 13-unit predominantly owner-occupied condominium. The units and gated-condo have gone through modern, in-character upgrades. The common deck/patio is on a bluff overlooking a sandy beach and the Long Beach/Belmont Shore Shoreline Bike/Running/Walking Trail. The immediate bay has distance/restriction buoys along the shoreline to aid recreational and competitive swimmers. The beach and run/walk/skate/bike trail are accessed by a 50-yard walk on steps or paved path leading to beach/trail. Long Beach convention center approx 1 mile walk on beach trail.
The condo patio has a gas barbeque, table, seating and lounge chairs and most of all, views of Queen Mary, Cruise Ship Terminal, Catalina Island, Shoreline Village Yacht Harbor, Long Beach Aquarium and the extravagant, man-made inshore oil-producing islands. On any evening, lights from party and theatre boats, inshore islands, terminals, and Shoreline Village and their reflections on the water are spectacular.
June 1 through July 31, 2009 only weekends available. US$400.
The unit is 940 sqft. townhouse; 2 bedrooms (MBR w/double bed and 2ndBR w/2-twin beds convertable to 1-king bed) and bath on top floor; living room, dining room and kitchen on bottom floor. The bathroom and kitchen have been recently remodeled and facilities are robust. The decor is attractive and modern.
The Passport Redline Bus stop on E. Ocean Blvd is very close. This bus conveniently travels from the cruise ship terminals to Long Beach Aquarium, Convention Center, Museum of Art, Belmont Shore, Seal Beach and Long Beach State. By car The Getty Museum, Hollywood/Burbank are 45 min., LAX, LA County Museum LACMA, LA Amtrak, Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland, are 30 min.

Vacation Rental Policies

Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Money Order, Personal Check
Check In: 3 p.m.
Check Out: 11 a.m.
Required Stay: 3 days
Deposits: $200.00 USD booking/damage deposit due upon booking. Full payment for rental period is due 5 business days prior to occupancy. Booking/damage deposit will be refunded and sent to home address within 10 days after departure, providing unit is left in reasonable condition and no damage is found. Details provided in rental agreement.
Other Fees: Cleaning can be arranged. Expect USD 100 - 125 per visit.

Lovely condo on the beach - very charmning community deck. Easy to find and centrally located to many things in the LA area. Condo was clean and well stocked. Nicely updated bathroom. Only drawbacks were parking, which was sometimes hard to find, and no dishwasher. Road noise was also a bit much for us suburbia dwellers, but probably not noticable to city folks. Computer for use was nice. Owners very quick to respond when first contacted and were easy to work with - they were even thoughful enough to call mid-week and check to see if we needed anything. Overall it was a good place to stay for the price.
