Reviews for this vacation cabin rental in Long Beach, Washington
Great place, great location, great clamming
October 29, 2014
What a cozy home and an amazing location. It's just feet from all the attractions in the center of town; bakery, museum, putt putt, loads of eateries, etc. Great bedrooms with loads of storage. Excellent kitchenware for cooking up whatever gourmet delights you might have (razor clams?). It really feels like a home away from home where the owners (your best friends or family) will walk in any minute and kick back and enjoy the place as much as you.
perfect location for active family
September 9, 2014
For our second stay in this house, we were travelling with two adults, two teenagers and a dog. The open floor plan of the house felt spacious enough for all, and the three bedrooms and two baths insured that no one felt cramped. The location is perfect for our family. The walk to the beach is quick and easy, as well as board walk and Centennial Trail. While my husband and I relaxed and enjoyed the local happy hours, the teens were able to keep quite busy. Also in walking distance...shops and restaurants, the arcade, movie theater, go carts, and the putt putt golf right next door. Upon arrival, the house was clean and ready for us. The kitchen houses enough utensils to cook for a family. The bathrooms were stocked, towels clean, and extras easy to find. Our family will more than likely book this house again in the future! The owner is very friendly, and easy to work with.
Relaxed comfort & convenience in charming cottage
September 5, 2014
This cottage perfectly suited our group of three adults, one teen and one dog. Beadboard and slanted ceilings evoke cozy, cottage charm. A roomy living/dining/kitchen area provides nice communal space for reading, eating and playing card games together. Furnishings are clean, casual and not too precious, so we felt comfortable hanging out on the couches with beverages and a bowl of popcorn nearby. The location can't be beat. Walk out the door directly into town in one direction, or directly to the beach path in the other. The cottage is right next door to a used bookstore that also serves espresso and has five resident cats and two dogs, a huge plus for us as we love all of the above! Long Beach is an exceedingly friendly place, with locals eager to share tips about best places to eat or places to go hiking. We took full advantage of being within easy driving distance of two spectacular parks: Leadbetter State Park and Cape Disappointment State Park. There are trails for all hiking levels. You don't have to hike far to find seclusion in pristine forests and beaches. Finally, Noel, the owner with whom we made the cottage booking, is friendly and so easy to work with. I understand he has rental properties in other areas too, which we are likely to look into in the future. This was a vacation to remember.

Great location easy access

My children and I had a great time staying here. Easy access the ocean, State Parks and downtown, I would recommend it for anyone spending some time in Long Beach.
Great Place, Great Stay!
December 31, 2013
I cannot rave enough about this great little cabin. It is absolutely charming inside and outside. The photographs were completely accurate, and the property was very clean, well-maintained, and well stocked. Seven of us fit nicely (two on the futons for a couple nights) and there were plenty of sheets, blankets, and towels to go around (it helps here is a washer/dryer on site). We were also blessed with unseasonably warm, sunny weather that we cannot 100% contribute to the cabin, but it certainly made the week very enjoyable. The owners were extremely helpful and quick about responding to e-mails and phone calls (including the embarrassing admission of leaving behind some stuff!), and the directions for reaching the house, finding everything in the house, and cleaning up before we left were very clear and fair. The only small complaint the whole week is that there is no wi-fi, but that just meant having to take a few walks to Long Beach Coffee Roasters (highly recommended). I also highly recommend The Lost Roo and Stormin' Norman's - pick up a kite and spend the day on the beach! Thanks Noel - we had an amazing time at your cabin!
Wonderful weekend at the beach!

4th of July Memories
July 9, 2011
Great visit over the 4th of July. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped. There were extra pillows and blankets if needed. It was a walk out the door to the beach in one direction or to the shops and restaurants the other direction. We also enjoyed the picnic bench in the backyard. We'd stay again!
