Description of the Longboat Key vacation condo rental
World-class beaches nearby including Siesta Beach: Longboat/Sarasota is the crown jewel of the west coast of Florida.
New restaurant/snack bar/pub onsite as well as terrific Floribbean restaurants nearby, some within walking distance. Bikes available in our garage for your use as well as barbecue grillers and beachgear such as beach chairs, boogie boards, noodles and umbrellas. Heated jr olympic pool for your use at short walk from the home at the resort.
DSL/WiFi wireless Internet access provided in unit.
Three large bedrooms with a study/4th bedroom(daybed with trundle) if needed. Jacuzzi tub in master suite along with king size pillow-top bed. There is a queen size bed in the second bedroom with peek-a-boo views of the waves lapping up on the beach from the Gulf of Mexico. The third bedroom has two twin beds and opens up onto a porch/lanai with a huge hammock to relax in.
A floor below there is a gourmet kitchen with wrap around bar that enters into a spacious living room with 42" LCD TV, dvd player and cable. The living room opens out onto the porch/lanai with outdoor dining table and chairs to eat or relax. Similar lanai a floor above opens from the master and third bedroom where a large hammock can hold two people.
Peak-a-boo views of the Gulf from some windows and two balconies.
Covered or enclosed garage for car and extra stuff.
This unit is twice the size of the 2 bedroom units that comprise 90% of the resort and it costs just a nominal bit more to rent! No additional fees for small pets-ask for details. No resort fees.
Go fishing at the pier or just watch the dolphin or manatees go by. The kids will love Durante Park a short walk away with jungle gym and seashell trails. Mangrove walkways connect one section to another thru the resort and provide a Florida wetland experience without the mosquitoes.
PACK-AWAY CRIB,HIGH CHAIR,GATES FOR STAIRS AVAILABLE AT UNIT if you have an infant at no additional cost. Barbecue grillers in the garage as well as 10 speed bikes.

WOW. What an Awesome vacation house

WOW. That pretty much sums up this beautiful vacation home on LongBoat Key. As you enter, you step into an expansive family room with a extra large sectional perfect for family gatherings. The open space flows easily into the very large gourmet kitchen and dining room. You also have another dining and relaxation area on the large enclosed porch. This floor also has a den with a bed and half a bath. It is a large and comfortable living area. On the next floor, the house has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a 2nd air conditioning unit. The very large master suite and bath is easily 4 times the size of any hotel room. The closets and bathroom are very spacious and the large porch has a hammock for relaxation. The décor of the house is very warm, cozy and inviting. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is also in a great location, 2 minutes from the beach and tennis and 10 minutes from St. Armand Circle with its many great shops and restaurants. We had a five star vacation and will definitely be returning several times in the future and can’t wait for our next trip. This is a vacation house not a condo. Kirk and Helene

Our family of 8 stayed at Castle-in-the sky for one week and had plnty of space. We have absolutely no complaints - the unit is beautifully furnished, the beds are all very comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. The large pool was a close walk and had plenty of chiars and tables for everyone - we ordered lunch and drinks from the grill and Tiki bar. The beach access is across the street but not too far to walk to. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing and Spacious

My family has rented here for three years running now because of the spacious and clean accommodations and the feeling of a home away from home. There is a terrific master bedroom with king size bed, walk-in closets and own powder area. I enjoy the jacuzzi tub as well as the private balcony with a large hammock that fits my husband and me. You can hear the seagulls and the gulf water soundsand I know I am on vacation. We can walk to the beach, the pool and even restaurants without getting in a car; that's what I call relaxation! We will return next year as well.

My family and I received professional yet personal attention from the owner. The home is VERY spacious and located in walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants etc... Great area and rental for families, plenty of space, comfortable beds, nice linens, well stocked (large) kitchen combined with great room makes for a relaxed setting. The place has everything including including beach/water toys, nice bikes, 2 car garage, grills, crib, high chair, large flat screen TV, DVD, etc. Great pool at facility and the beach is a short walk. A great value for the money!

Spacious Home!

This is a very spacious, nicely decorated, well equipped home. Pool, tennis courts, fitness center and boardwalk on site all make this such a convenient place to stay. The beach is gorgeous! It is a little bit of a walk to public access, or you can cut through other condos across the street (even though you aren't supposed to). The sand is beautiful and the ocean very clean and clear. We found lots of shells and saw some dolphins! The aquarium is close drive and worth it if you have kids. The park is within walking distance and fun for kids, and adults, with nature paths, etc. Restaurant close by was good, although we cooked quite a bit in the well equipped kitchen. Owner is available and helps with anything you may need. Great vacation for our family, thank you!

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at this condo for the weekend with a group of friends. There is more than enough room for everyone and it's so nice to have everyone under one roof. The townhouse is immaculately clean and provides ample 'beach gear' for your stay. Just bring food, drinks and clothes and your all set. The location and amenities are awesome. The owner is extremely easy to work with. Will definitely be staying here again.

Lots of space to spread out!

We rented this unit for 5 teenagers and 3 adults (blended family plus grandma). There was lots of space to spread out - made this one of the most relaxing vacations we've been on. Huge kitchen allows you to eat in if desired. Quiet area - not very commercial - great to relax without the distraction of go carts or putt putt on every block, but close enough to find things to do if you want too. Public access to the beach was further than I thought, but we were able to cut through across the street with no problems. Good value!

I can't say enough about how pleased we were with this experience. We had never rented online like this before and weren't sure what to expect. It exceeded our expectations! We shared the condo with a second family and it was so spacious! The kitchen, bedrooms, porches, bedrooms, everything was great! The condo was immaculate and stocked with every detail that you might need. The pool and tennis courts were fabulous as well. The best part, was the owner was so easy to communicate with and work with. You know integrity when you deal with it. Highly recommend this condo, hope to rent it again soon!!

We had a wonderful time. The home is just decorated beautifully. There is so much space to relax. The kitchen has everything you need and the beds were so comfortable. If we go back to longboat key we would love to stay there again. Also the property owner was so easy to work with, it was a breeze.

Perfect for large family

We stayed here with our grown children and 3 young grandsons (ages 9 mos - 4 yrs). I can't think of a single negative. The home is lovely and well-kept. It's close enough to the pool and beach to be convenient, even walking with little ones and gear, but far enough to feel that young, daring boys were safe. We can't wait to visit again.

My friends and I couldn't have asked for or expected nicer accomodations. Every detail was covered -- the kitchen is stocked with more gadgets than I have at home! Plenty of towels, reading material, and all the little creature comforts that were needed. What a beautiful, well-kept home. We can't wait to go back!

It was nice to finally stay at a vacation rental where there was room to spread out and everyone could have their own bedroom. The tennis courts are awesome and we really enjoyed the beach. It is a fun place to bring the family and the kitchen is huge! We may come back in the Summer in the same unit.

My best friend's and our family - eight of us stayed for two weeks. It was great.We used the inflatable bed for the kids in the den and the unit was large enough so we were not tripping over each other and it cost a lot less than if we rented two hotel rooms. The kids loved the beach nearby and the park next door.The area is upscale but Cedars has a relaxed feeling and it was safe for our kids 10 and 14 years old. I liked the nature trails and heated pool and my husband fished and I cooked it in the kitchen( when we didn't eat out!) We will reserve again this winter/spring break.
