Description of the Longboat Key vacation condo rental

Escape to Paradise with Incredible Sunsets and Balmy Breezes direct on the Gulf of Mexico with its beautiful White Sand Beaches stretching for miles. Private and very quiet, only two units in this building. Our condo is the 1st floor unit and features two bedrooms with a king size bed in the master suite and a queen size bed in the second bedroom, two full baths, updated and newly renovated in 2005, two car enclosed garage and private balcony. The condo is bright and airy and has a fully equipped kitchen.

Enjoy days relaxing on the deck or private balcony overlooking the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico and as evening approaches, enjoy your favorite beverage while watching the spectacular sunsets and if you're fortunate, you will see dolphins swim not far from shore.

Longboat Key is one of Florida's most beautiful islands. Out of the way, yet easily accessible. Only minutes away are excellent restaurants and world-class shops, restaurants, and art galleries of St. Armand's Circle. Sarasota's theater, cultural district and downtown are only a 10 minute drive. At last count, the nearby area offers over 79 golf courses, and of course the Sarasota International Airport is only approximately 20 minutes away.

Within walking distance across the street and set back is the "Avenue of the Flowers" a shopping center offering a Publix Supermarket, a CVS drugstore, several banks, gas station and other small shops.

Perfect Spot

May 31, 2012

My wife and I stayed here with our twin daughters. It was a spectacular stay. The condo is clean and spacious. We stayed on the first floor (one unit above as well). It's proximity to the beach was key - about 200 feet. Kitchen was well equipped. We make food, margaritas, toast, etc. Small appliances and large ones worked well. We ran out of TP but a quick run to CVS (less than a mile away) solved that issue.

2 adult couples. Very relaxing and condo was comfy. Only draw back was the lack of restaurants close by. We do plan on returning... Owner/rental was great... work with us when flights were delay and getting keys... We do recommend D. Janes

We had a wonderful week at this beachfront home. It has had lots of updates but still maintains the feel and charm of an old Florida home. The owners have thought of everything and provde all that you will need. The view is amazing. We saw Dolphins, crabs and lots of different birds every day. You will never want to leave!!!!
