Description of the Lookout Mountain vacation cottage rental
We want you to feel at home when you are visiting our little getaway, so we have included everything we could think of make you comfortable. Whether you are looking for some time away to relax, or some fun and excitement in the mountains or downtown Chattanooga, we welcome you to our little getaway. Families with young children can enjoy the pool, volleyball, and just the beauty and wonder of nature right here on site.
Area Information
The Chickamauga National Battlefield is the largest federal civil war battlefield in the nation. It boasts over 5200 acres. Hike in the mountains and see waterfalls and beautiful vistas with a few thousand foot drops. If you time it right, you will be able to go to one of the many festivals that are either right here in Chickamauga, or in neighboring small towns. And of course there is Chattanooga. Known for its very very family friendly down town complete with parks that have waterfalls and streams that the kids can jump right into on a hot day and have a great time, and so far everything that I have mentioned is FREE.

This area is wonderful for anyone who just loves getting out and enjoying the beauty of nature... lakes... Mountains.. Downtown Chattanooga, parks, and the river front... very clean, safe and family friendly while offering fun for all ages. Very low cost enjoyment. Also, Ruby Falls, Rock City, Lookout Mountain, Baseball games in Downtown Chattanooga are also a fun and inexpensive activity for everyone. Many wonderful Restaurants both near to our cottage as well as in Fort Oglethorpe and Downtown Chattanooga.
