We stayed 8-nights and had a great time. Lovely apartment with all modern amenities in a relatively quiet area of LA but easy walking to buses / metro. It's location close to all these amenities and services was important to us as we never had a car and used public transport throughout our stay without any problem. Directly opposite a very good cafe which we didn't expect but was a great bonus to our stay when we arrived back late from trips and didn't fancy going out to far for a meal. Owner / manager very helpful prior to our stay though the broken air conditioning unit (a small one in addition to the main) wasn't fixed as we were promised during our stay. This was only a small inconvenience as we were out most of the day when the suns heat through the glass roof atrium caused greatest problems (temps were about 100 - 110F during our stay). The main air conditioning unit coped for the rest of the apartment but did not help with the mezzanine bedroom which was immediately below the glass roofed atrium. It also meant anyone sleeping there had to wear an eye mask or deal with the inability to black out the glass atrium roof. Again, a minor inconvenience as we brought eye masks for such eventualities. For these reasons we have reduced out score by one mark. Apart from the above minor issues everything else was great. Well appointed building (the entrance lobby was amazing!) with access to a swimming pool (used regularly) and other facilities such as jacuzzi (no one used that given the heatwave we experienced) and gym which we didn't use. Next to the famous Hollywood Towers building (made doubly famous by a ride a Disney - or was it Universal?) which was an added bonus. Overall we would stay again - surely the best recommendation I can give. Tony & Tracy Liverpool UK
