2BR, 1BA Bungalow in the heart of trendy Silver Lake offers a large stone patio (enclosed & private) with a gas grill, an herb garden & a lemon tree. The gourmet kitchen has marble countertops, stainless steel appliances & a skylight. In the bathroom there is a steam shower & a Jacuzzi tub. French doors open out onto the patio. There are recessed dimmer lights everywhere, bamboo floors throughout & lots of natural light. Washer and Dryer inside. Wireless Internet, Telephone, HD Tv & DVD player provided. Two off-street parking spaces provided. Central Heat/AC. Fully furnished. Sleeps up to 4.

Area Information

Lots of great places within a few blocks walking distance: LAMill coffee, Reservoir Restaurant, Domenico Restaurant, Stinker's Bar, Intelligentsia, Rambutan Thai and Pho Cafe. Silver Lake Lounge, Spaceland & The Echo, all great clubs to hear music, are also in the neighborhood. Also nearby is the Silver Lake reservoir with a walking path and a dog park. Sunset Junction and Silver Lake Farmer's Market are a mile away. The cottage is centrally located with easy access to the 2, 5 and 101 freeways. Minutes from Hollywood, Downtown, Griffith Park, Dodger Stadium and a short drive to the studios and beaches.

There is something very special about picking lemons from a tree in your own backyard. That was my favorite thing about this lovely bungalow which is perfectly situated in the LA area: easy access to anywhere you want to go. The updated bathroom as also high on my list. As for having a washer/dryer, well thats just heaven when you have two kids with you. The owner has stocked the house with everything you need for a worry free vacation or business trip. The beds are comfortable, the decor stylish. Not having to look for a parking space on the street, well, that's just priceless. I would definitely stay here again.

This cottage was wonderful for me and my two girls. The kitchen was amazing: well stocked, beautifully furnished and a joy to work in; bedrooms were well laid out with lots of extras: blankets, towels, ironing equipment, hangers - everything was thought of. The patio smelled heavenly (jasmine) and we loved picking the lemons off the tree to use in the kitchen. The neighborhood is one of my favorites, good central location in a community of artists and younger industry types. I'd recommend this place to my closest friends and know they'd thank me after staying here. Thanks so much!!

Included parking made it even more convenient.The neighborhood is nice and trendy, nice coffee shops and restaurants and silver lake has really easy access to the rest of LA. Location, Amenities, Location!

Four of us just spent this past week there, and it was a great rental - beautiful residence and an unbelievable location. You can walk to the best parts of the Sunset Strip in Silver Lake (great Mexican, diners, boutiques, coffee, and bars). The patio is really spacious and has a lot of atmosphere - good for early morning coffee or late night glass of wine. The neighborhood makes you want to go out and explore, but the cottage always welcomes you home. Up Silver Lake Blvd is some good restaurants and coffee shops again, along with the Silver Lake Resevoir - great for a few mile run. Good size, super clean, nicely decorated - truly an excellent value. Will recommend to friends and family and would easily return. Liz and Michael were very easy to work with and accomodating.

This cottage brought a lot of fun times into my life. It's the perfect size, perfectly furnished, comfortable and attractive. Liz the owner, is very easy to work with and we tried our very best to make sure we left everything in tact so we could experience this place again. I wish I could go back and do it all over again! Loved the lemon tree

We left VA with snow covering our front yard to arrive in LA and eat breakfast under the lemon tree outside this cottage. Of course I made lemonade, too. We came for two weeks to be with our daughter and son-in-law when their first baby arrived. He was a week late so we extended our stay another 5 days. It was great to have a small place to ourselves when we needed it. If it is available when we come back we will stay here again. It was our home away from home. Liz was easy to work with and very accomodating.
