Easily accessible by bridge from Lubec, Maine, Campobello Island is home to Franklin Delano Roosevelt's summer residence and is part of the International Park jointly run by the US and Canada. Four famous lighthouses are within minutes of the home including the most photographed Canadian lighthouse, East Quoddy (Head Harbour Passage) Light, located 2 miles from the house. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area including bald eagles, osprey, whales and seals. A nine hole golf course, sweeping beach, picnic areas, scenic lookouts, whale watch tours, hiking trails and relaxing seafood restaurants provide entertainment, adventure and enjoyment, all within a few miles of the home.
