Description of the Lucignano vacation villa rental
Villa Le Rondini...one of the most renowned original villas in the heart of Tuscany.
Whether you spend the day swimming in the pool and soaking in the hilltop views, playing with kids on the private garden, lounging around the more than 5,000 square feet in the nearly 400 years old villa, or strolling the cobblestone streets of the nearby medieval villages, Villa Le Rondini will greet you each morning with unparalleled beauty and calm.
Guests at Villa Le Rondini have a once-in-a-lifetime experience which combines the rustic natural beauty of Tuscany and its incredible medieval hilltop towns with the finest of accommodations and amenities. The Villa is rented to only one group at a time, so you are assured that your family or group of up to 16 people have the individual attention they deserve.
Ground floor of Villa: big kitchen with stone fireplace, more than 1,000 sqare feet of living room and dining room with stone fireplace, direct access to the loggia, with pizza oven. First floor of villa, there are 4 bedrooms, each one with private bathroom, in the middle a big kitchen for breakfast and a huge 300 years old fire place, with direct access to the patio. At third floor there is the only one bedroom without bathroom. So only the Villa is more than 3,700 sqare feet.
Then there is the 300 years old cattle and cow shed, renovated with three suite-bedrooms each one with private bathrooms, and access from outside, game room with billiard table, other 1,600 sq.m.
Around the villa and dependance there are 2.5 acres of typical Tuscan landscape, with age-old cypress and olive trees, fruits trees, flowers and a garden including a 1,000 square feet swimming pool with divingboard.
Lucignano "La Perla" of Valdichiana, situated in the most ideal central location in Tuscany, Villa Le Rondini is very close to the "must see" destinations in the region: Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena, and Florence, among others..
In less than 30 minutes by car you can arrive to Cortona, for visit the Set of the movie "Under the Tuscan Sun", Montepulciano, Siena, Arezzo, National nine hole Golf Course, a nice Outlet shopping centre.
Between 30 minutes to 1 hour by car you can arrive to Perugia, Florence, Montalcino, Pienza, Chianti, International shopping centre with official shop of Gucci, Armani, Prada, Valentino, all at 50% off.
With 2 hours by car you can arrive to east side on sea Adriatic, Rimini e Riccione or in the same time to west side, in Maremma area, Porto S. Stefsano, Castiglione della Pescaia and Tyrrhene Sea for sail between the undiscovered islands of Tuscany.
To Milan you need by car 3,5/4 hours, to Venice 4/4,5 hours, to Rome 2/2,5 hours by car.
