updated chalet on private 2.5 acres, great family or romantic getaway, close to okemo in the winter and close to hiking, fishing, swimming, golf, and all outdoor activities, great for all seasons, weekly/week end rentals, seasonal rentals, monthly or long term rental available

there is a local caretaker that lives 1 1/2 miles down the road, he checks in and does the plowing and shoveling

All the comforts of home

The house was convieniently located with easy acces all the area ski resorts yet secluded enough to get away from the hussle and bustle. Everyting you could think of was furbished at the house from toiletries to firewood and matches. The only downfall was poor cell phone reception but even then there was a working landline. But I didn't go there to talk on the phone anyway so for my wife and I it was the perfect getaway....reasonably priced and dog friendly. I recomend it.

pleasant memories of Vermont

We had a lovely time. Of course the weather and the surroundings were beautiful and the location was perfect and easy to find (on the road between Weston and Andover). The house was very well equipped. They had everything we could possibly have needed. They even had a tea pot with cozy - which for a tea drinker (like me) is a necessity. We built a lovely fire in the evening with plenty of available wood. The den and the bed were both comfy. All in all, we had a great time. Would rent it again if we ever return to Vermont. Will definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Excellent Relaxing Getaway

My partner and I stayed here for a quiet New Year's vacation. The house had everything we needed and the owner was helpful and made sure the place was ready for us. The area is just beautiful; we took day trips to all the charming VT towns and went snowshoeing nearby in Londonderry. I'll definitely come back.
