Description of the Ludlow vacation cottage rental
Our cottage is on Lake Ninevah -- one of Vermont’s best kept secrets. This pristine lake has a large circular expanse of about 250 acres and is coveted for its peace and quiet. Most of the surrounding land has been preserved and there are only about a dozen cottages on the lakeshore. A 5 m.p.h. motor boat restriction makes Lake Ninevah a haven for those who love to swim, canoe, kayak, sail, windsurf, fish or just relax. Our cottage is situated on a private road bounded by lovely woods. Hike or mountain bike right from the cottage door.
Escape to this nature retreat where opportunities abound for wildlife watching that includes loons, bald eagles, great blue herons, hawks, geese, ducks, mink, beaver, moose, deer and other wildlife.
Enjoy the gentle, sandy access to the lake and go for a refreshing swim or simply delight in wading in the shallow, clear water by the shore. Go fishing or boating from the private dock. Sunbathe and relax on the south-facing lawn or sunlit porch.
