20 minutes NW of Bellingham via a ten minute ferry ride that takes you and your car for $10 . outside smoking only and pets subject to approval .

Forget the "other" San Juans- Lummi's the place. No awful (and expensive) ferry lines. The chalet was great...beautiful deck, complete kitchen, and very comfy bed (can't say that about most rent-by-owners). Great entertainment provided by the local wildlife. Lummi itself is like a step back in time. Take a good book and adjust your attitude to "island time"

Had a great time at the chalet doing almost nothing, just sitting and looking out the window is entertainment. The huge window area provides beautiful natural light in the studio like living room,I wanted to set up an easel.I also appreciated the solitude, what a quiet romantic place, I'm looking at my pictures wishing I was still there, and of course, missing the animal friends we made. And better kitchen and amenities than one would expect, made for some fine dining. Thanks, Grant and Eric ? for a good Lummi experience.

Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful. Just what we needed. The wild life, (which wasn't so wild) greeted us as we sat on the deck and soaked up the beautiful scenery. I would recomend this to my friends and family. We will be back.
