Tranquil Oceanfront retreat on lummi Island
|Per night||$120 - $175|
|Per week||$695 - $950|
The freestanding gas fireplace will keep you cosy warm through out your stay, any time of year if needed, while reading a book with a glass of wine or munching on appys prepared in the fully functioning kitchen
If movies are your thing, a large 55 inch flat screen smart T.V. could be a perfect conclusion to a day of adventure cycling around the island on bikes that are provided,(4 with helmets) or a tour around on the water in the Kayaks that are stored under the deck.( includes life jackets). If you prefer to bring your own power boat, there is a mooring buoy in front of the cabin( be sure it mention it in your inquiry so that I can give you some helpful suggestions for launching. Some of the San Juan Islands are as close as 15 minutes away and many of them have a dock to tie up to. ).
It is hard to beat waking up in the morning watching the sailboats from your California king size bed in the master bedroom ... or listening to the creek making its way along side the property till it goes over the edge of the rocks into the ocean.
On a good day, you may be fortunate enough to see our adopted Eagle (Zorro) perched in the trees, or the deer that come through the property forging for food. If you enjoy eating smores around an open fire, wood is provided and the out door fire pit that boasts an ocean view is a great place to to keep anyone entertained. The Deck in the front of the cottage, though small, allows for those morning coffees in the crisp air. Did I mention the cappicino machine? Or if you prefer, when the sun is shining, the deck by the entrance is always comfortable both in size and in temperature in the comfort of a wooded view ..

We loved our stay here!!

We had a wonderful time staying in this cozy, clean and newly updated cabin. It had everything you could need, and more. Pictures do not give it justice as to how lovely this property is! We had plenty of room and the cabin is nestled in a woodsy area with its own view of the water so it was very peaceful. Owners are very quick to respond to your questions and were very pleasant to work with. Quiet little island if your looking for a quiet escape .
Such a nice getaway!

We decided to get away for a few days after Christmas and this house was perfect! It was our first time to Lummi island (which was small and lots of fun to explore). The house was perfect for the two of us, and probably could have fit a few more comfortably. We used the kitchen quite a bit and even took the kayaks out when the rain cleared. I would highly recommend staying here for a nice relaxing getaway.
A Great place for a quiet family vacation.

We went with our 3 kids (the cottage handles 5 for sleeping if 2 can share the full-sized alcove bed) and enjoyed kayaking, clamming, and exploring the beaches and tidal pools. The cottage is open and airy, with large windows looking out toward the water; tastefully simple and cozy. We also appreciated that there was enough of a yard to keep the kids active as we'd enjoy a lazy morning with the cappuccino machine (nice bonus!), and having the 2 kayaks to use, with direct access to the water, was fantastic. We found Lummi to be a beautiful, peaceful island with gorgeous views, beaches, and wildlife; and this cottage has all you need to fully enjoy this great spot. Thank you for helping us have such a great stay, Peter and Rebekah. We hope to come back some day!

What an incredible getaway! The owners were very nice and helpful to work with and provided an unexpectedly delightful arrival with all of the necessities for a peaceful stay. We were particularly impressed with the master bedroom: the view, the gas fireplace, and the king-size bed topped off with high quality linens and a down comforter!! We also really appreciated the kayaks and took several trips to the point to watch the Eagles and interact with the seals at seal rocks. Thank you for this wonderful escape. The whole family had a terrific time!
Wonderful relaxing place

This oceanfront get away is a beautiful and tranquil place to relax. Rooms are nice, beds comfortable, kitchen great. Cabin has direct access to the ocean which allowed me to kayak every day. Lummi Island is just across from Bellingham, a short ferry ride away. If you're looking for a quiet place and don't exepct too much luxury, that's the palce to be. I definitely will come back. It's fun.

Much more than I expected. Beautifully designed. Strongly suggest grip strips on porch steps, I fell twice when wet. You might warn people about sulphur water. Lemons helped. I had an exquisite Easter watching sunrise over the sound and cascades, later watching a lively egg hunt in the cemetery by theUCC church. So appropriate for spring. Thank you
