This bright, new, professionally decorated home, features a spacious deck with outdoor kitchen, hot tub and beautifully landscaped grounds. A westerly exposure with magic views of the San Juan Islands, and access to one of the finest beaches on the Island, make this home a extraordinary vacation choice.
Area Description
Lummi Island is unique in its close proximity to the mainland and the fact that it is served by its own vehicle ferry. The ferry makes the 10 minute crossing at least one an hour from 6 am to midnight each and every day.
You will be able to enjoy the treasures of island life, as well as mainland exploration. Day trips to the cities of Vancouver, BC Canada or Seattle, WA are perfectly within reason, as is hiking Mt. Baker, Whale Watching and visiting some of the other San Juan Islands.
You and your family will love it here!

- Check Out: 11 a.m.
- Required Stay: 3 Night Minimum
- Lodging Tax: 10.4%
- Deposits: All rentals are subject to $500 security deposit regardless of the length of stay.
Security deposits are fully refundable within 14 days of departure.
- Other Fees: A housekeeping fee of $100 applies.

We're from England, via Phoenix AZ and Vancouver BC--but... WE'RE ALL LUMMI ISLANDERS NOW!
This has been special. Fabulous weather helped, but there's much more to say. We loved Island View and felt very much at home here. This house works and it fives a very comforting and happy feel.
As for Luminous Lummi, what a place. Haven't see so many kinds of vegetation in on small place--from sea-swept coast to conifer forest--to what look to me like an English country lane from my youth, with blackberries and wonderful falling leaves dropping off in front of us.

Chatting at the Islander Store
Taproot Cafe and Willows Inn (Sadly the Beach Store Cafe was closed when we were here)
We leave unwillingly and with heavy hearts.

This was a wonderful retreat-- we loved the music of the swainson's thrush in the back woods (thanks to the generous neighbor who shares the woods). A white crowned sparrow serenaded us all day in the fron tyeard. The whole island is lovely with birdlife.
My mother, who is 84 says these the best sunsets she's seen in her entire life, "except for once in Scotland". The colors are like the JMW Turner paintings, as well as the mist on the morning water. Why is there a silvery-white line at the horizon?
We'll always have good memories of this beautiful place.

Beautiful accommodations. Could not think of one thing we would have needed to make our stay more enjoyable. Really enjoyed the garden, hot tub and beautiful sunsets. Kitty from next door welcomed us each day. Certainly enjoyed many hours on the deck just relaxing. Thanks again for a very enjoyable stay.

This is our last evening to take in the incredible view.
We have extended family here on Lummi, so it was a very special to see them. Our daughter and her family were here from Tampa, Florida. They were staying at the Jewel family cabin. It was so wonderful to see them! But, it's always hard to say goodbye. We haven't seen them since last October.

What a perfect way to see the San Juan Islands. This was our first trip to the Northwest and what a beuatiful place to stay. The house was beautiful and thank you for all the little touches. We will always remember the dinners on the deck and the deer wandering around. Best day was our trip with Captain Charlie to Matia Island on his sailboat. Just perfect, as we saw some Seals and Bald Eagles.

We even rode on a log and paddled around on it with kayak paddles for 3 hours! With wetsuits. We loved going in the hot tub and watching the beautiful sunsets! Us two families had a superb time!"
