Others advertise beach front, but our condo at the Bello Mar Resort is the real thing! Nestled in the quaint fishing village of Fortuna on Luquillo Beach (the pride of Puerto Rico!) you'll see sandy beaches for miles and miles in either direction with warm water for year-around enjoyment.
Our 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo is beautifully furnished and can sleep up to 6 with 2 queen beds, and two click-it sofas which lay down into 2 more very comfortable full beds.
Area Information
El Yunque, Puerto Rico's breathtaking rain forest, is just over a mile away, boasting 4 ecosystems in a 28,000 acre park. Horseback riding, ATV rides, bike rentals and a go-cart track are within a mile. Not one but two world class 18-hole golf courses and spa facilities are within 5 miles!

Everything You Need for An Amazing PR Beach Vacay

We stayed at Bello Mar for 7 days in April (14-21) and it was fantastic. It was even better than Lynora described in her ad, and the place looked just like the photos. The decor is nice, but the best parts of the condo rental were: 1) Luguillo itself! The beaches here are amazing, but also Luguillo is a great little area - close to all kinds of great beaches, ferries to other beaches, funky restaurants, friendly locals, the rainforest, and amenities galore, 2) the incredible hospitality Lynora creates by the extras like boogie boards, hammock, laundry with supplies, kitchen essentials, bathroom essentials, and "the Book" - a guide for all kinds of information to make your exploration easier and more efficient. 3) the well-laid out details that Lynora provides, her prompt attention to your requests, and her well-organized process which makes check-in a breeze. We visited El-Junque, Vieques, Luguillo Beach, Cieba, Fajardo, and many other places on the east end of Puerto Rico. We were totally amazed by how much we love PR, and we definitely plan to return. I would absolutely rent this condo again - mainly because Lynora is so wonderful to deal with, the condo is great, and Luquillo is really well situated for your basecamp while exploring this gorgeous island. I should point out that Bello Mar is "right on the ocean" so you won't have beach to lie on right in front of the condo, and the waves were really strong in front of the condo. However, there is ample beach space (ie sand to lie down and sunbathe) only a few feet on either side of the condo, and there is a nice public beach to the right side where we watched young children playing in the surf. If you have young children or weak swimmers, I would highly recommend walking the few minutes down to the public beach where the surf is a bit more gentle. Also, one caution regarding walking around PR. We noticed that on the public beaches and public areas there was a lot of litter. It amazes me that people would litter when they have such a beautiful place to enjoy, but it happens pretty much everywhere. However, we came across a lot of broken glass on the beaches and streets so be careful where you walk or let children play in the sand. The beaches on Vieques did not have litter and broken glass (the 2 we visited) so there are lots of great beach spots without the problem too. Finally, Lynora returned our deposit promptly, thanked us for our stay, and invited us to return. You will love Bello Mar

Thank you sooo much. What a wonderful review. I wanted to explain a couple of things. First, the beach in front of our house changes with the seasons. When the tide is high, the amount of sand we have on the shore is small. Believe it or not, during the summer and much of the fall, there is 30+ feet of sand from our retaining wall to the ocean. It's crazy that there's so much variation but even when the tide is high, it's great that there's perfect beach in both directions just a short way down the beach. I also wanted to explain the "trash on the beach" issue in Puerto Rico. I originally thought people were littering but the problem is that the trash isn't picked up often enough from the trash cans on the beach. Dogs tear into trash that's left out and then the wind carries it down the beach. We do our bit while we are there to keep our stretch beautiful. So glad you loved Puerto Rico. Pretty hard to beat the weather and beauty!

My husband and I stay here one week ago, Lynora ( the owner ) was really nice and helpful, I love the place, I fall in love with the view of the ocean, and the condo it self make me field relax with the decoration and the set up. We enjoy having breakfast in the balcony, Look for a binder with information on the condo, if your visit take some time to read, I found a lot of helpful information here and please READ the directions( before you complain ), to make the water hot is a red switch in the kitchen people:) All I have to said is that yes...this place is a little piece of heaven. I am so thank full that God give us the opportunity to enjoy the beauty that he create for us..Thank you Lynora.

Lovely Condo on beach

We stayed at the condo for about a week and wished we had more time there. The beach is literally in front of the property and a short walk to the east or west opens up into additional beautiful beaches. The neighbourhood is very safe and everyone in the area was friendly. the condo itself is well appointed and very clean. We had a wonderful time and would love to return.

This place is perfect for a younger couple, older couple, and family's. The view was amazing and so romantic. Perfect location between San Juan and fajardo for activities. Stores and restaurants close to home. I loved that this unit had a washer and dryer = no stress at all. The only thing I could suggest is up to date knives and kitchen supply's . This place was really great overall and has us thinking we need to move to pr now !

This condo has an unbeatable view of the ocean! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lynora made sure we had everything ready for our visit. Be sure to check out the binder at the condo, it has recommendations for restaurants and things to see and do in the area. We'll definitely make another trip!!

I was there with my son. The breeze, the view ,the people in the area and the condo specially Mrs. Liza, Mrs. Samary, Mrs,Carmen, Mrs. Miguelina and Mr. Tongo were a beautiful people to help my stay more easy. My son and I felt in love with the view from the balcony. Thanks Lord for give us this blessing. We did a lot activities ; the places were close of the condo ,and was easy to be on time. More Than What We Expected!

Our vacation time in Puerto Rico is just we needed. I am so happy I came across Lynora's condo in Luquillo. It was a very simple process to make our travel arrangements through her. I dont think I have ever stayed in a place that had everything we needed to make us cozy. Right down to spices for our cooking lol! It truly was a home away from home. The decor, the comfort, the warmth, and yes that BEACHFRONT VIEW! It was spectacular in the morning and in the night. Not to mention it was very spacious. We enjoyed cooking our breakfasts and sitting out on the balcony to the crashing sounds of the waves. It was deeply inspiring. She had wonderful air conditioning unit and although it was just the two of us in this big 2 bedroom we found the comforts of sleeping by the balcony. The great thing about her location is that the building is very quiet and relaxing and it is tucked away in a small community where we found the locals to be kind and friendly. We could either relax in this dream escape, or go find things to do in around in the area. Shopping is very close as well as the ferry to go over to the Vieques which we did and had an awesome time. Its close to everything you need. There is so much to do in this vicinity, beautiful beaches and great hotels in the area like the El Consiquedor. That has a mini casino which was fun. Lynora, thanks so much for extending you place to us. We will come again!

Best Vacation Ever

Honestly the pictures do not do this place justice. We lived on the balcony in the hammock the whole time. We fell asleep and woke up to the sound of crashing waves. Condo is on 2nd floor which makes for the BEST view. The beach is totally private perfect for skinny dipping, the stars on a clear night will blow your mind. you can walk left to resort beaches (and sneak in their pool/hot tub) rent umbrellas, cabana service, a beach bar, jet skies etc. We also LOVED Luquilo beach a short drive away, everything you imagine in a tropical beach, leaning palm trees perfect to use instead of an umbrella, snorkel stuff for rent, awesome waves to play in or boogie board, ice cream vendors, and the best turquoise water. Kiosko hopping near the condo was our fav night time activity, I recommend Ely's (a super chill lesbian bar) with secluded patio in back, La Parilla is yummy, and Vejigante has the BEST food, if you are sick of fried food head there, you'll need a rental car in this area. Luquillo is the most friendly place I've ever been to, 1,000x better than Ocean Park/Condado. Location in Luquillo is great, close to El Yunque, Fajardo, and still 30-40 min from old san juan, Kasalta, and everything else you want to see. Lenora's condo guide was a life saver, and it was very sweet of her to leave such a detailed guide. We are hooked we can't wait to come back!!!

Very happy I stay there. Me and my wife and my 2 kids we really enjoy it the view is amazing we had breakfast every morning in the balcony. The condo is very clean and had everything you need. We walk to the kiosko the people are very friendly in the area and safe. We got our key enough time. before we left and the direction to get to the condo was. perfect. The condo was close to everything. If you deciding to go you will love the this condo. Did I told that this condo is perfect is right on the beach trust me you can throw a rock right from the balcony. Can't wait to go back and stay there again. We love it. Until next time.....

I don't recall how we ran across this vacation rental, but I am glad we did. First, unlike many owners we have rented from the owners of this condo went above and beyond the call to keep us informed and to make our trip uneventful. The condo is on the 2nd floor beach front. You can toss a stone to the beach from the deck. Beautiful panoramic view of nothing but beach and waves. If you decide to eat in, the kitchen is equipped to do so. Eating out is always an option and there is a Kiosk of about 20 stores and restaurants within a mile (we walked there along the beach) and had lunch. The condo was very clean and there were plenty of clean linen and towels. The owner provides a detailed set of instructions for travel from the airport as well as a step by step list of to do items when you arrive, such as breaker box turn on, cistern operation, stove top operation and cleaning hints. There is private gated parking at the condo and the owners, true to their word, sent the keys and gate opener two weeks before departure. There is a huge notebook of activities available to keep you entertained, but I recommend doing your own research before departure. It saved us a lot of time and we were alerted to changes in our chosen activities which allowed us to go to plan B. The bottom line, however, is attitude of the owners (top notch) mixed with the ambiance of Puerto Rico while staying right on her coast in a condo that allows you to fall asleep at any time during the day to the hypnotic sound of crashing waves. I returned home and could still hear that sound in my head as I went to sleep. Would I recommend Beach Lover's Heaven? You bet I would. Would I return, yes. Many things still need to be seen in Puerto Rico. Just Do It.

Wonderful Honeymoon Stay

The condo was clean and spacious. It had every amenity you could wish for. You are guaranteed to have a great time on the beach, with the included boogie boards and beach chairs. The washer and dryer are very convenient too. The other condo owners were all very friendly and helpful. The location is central to many recreational and cultural attractions such as: El Yunque, ferries to Culebra and Vieques, San Juan and Old San Juan. The Kiosks in Luquillo are just a walk down the beach and offer many different cuisine choices. A rental car is handy for exploring the rest of the island. Ken and Lynora made the rental process easy and convenient. They answered all our questions in a timely manner. Overall, it was a great first stay for us in Puerto Rico. We would highly recommend this property.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. It had everything we wished for and then some. Gladys was the perfect hostess and Luquillo is truly magical. Amazing view....great location....beautiful furnishings....stone's throw from the beach!! What more could you ask for?? If you love the beach, you will love this condo! The sound of the ocean, right outside the balcony of this beautiful condo, put us to sleep every night. The location was perfect for us as well....right down the beach from the Luquillo Beach Kiosks where you will find all kinds of amazing food and yummy drinks (try the Burger Shack for the best Mojitos ever!!), a 5 minute drive from El Yunke Rainforest, 45 minutes from Old San Juan, 15 minutes from the marina in Fajardo where you can take a boat trip out to Culebra Island and Flemenco Beach for snorkeling and beach combing, and an easy and beautiful drive to the south side of the island to watch the whales, surfers, and the sunset over Rincon Beach. The condo owner was incredible....informative, welcoming, and very easy to work with!! There is a welcome book in the condo with all the information you will need for your stay, including brochures for just about everything there is to do in the area, as well as local restaurant info and reviews. We cannot wait to go back to Puerto Rico, and wouldn't think about staying anywhere else!!
