Truly a condo in Paradise!!

My husband and I stayed here for one week. We really loved the condo, it had everything we needed. Including beach chairs, towels, a giant umbrella, and boogie boards!! The view from the windows and the roof top deck were absolutely spectacular, and with the windows open and fan going the breezes were really great!! We would eat breakfast from the roof top deck and enjoy the cool morning breezes, and at night we would have dinner up there under the stars with the sound of the waves crashing. Not to mention that the furniture was all very comfortable, which just enhances the stay. We would both stay there again when visiting Puerto Rico, we felt like we were nicely located to everything and felt really safe there. We both agreed that it almost felt like we were house sitting for a friend because we both felt so comfortable and at home in Elizabeth's condo in paradise. Thank you Elizabeth!! You were wonderful to work with, and always got right back to us with any questions or concerns we had!! We stayed for another week in Vieques after staying in Elizabeth's condo, and when we arrived home there was a thank you card waiting for us in our mailbox with our security deposit check and a sweet note inside! = ) We truly can't wait to stay in paradise again!! P.S. Make sure to go to the little corner store on PR 3 that is just directly across from the street you turn off for the condo, and ask for Sabrina Sangria. It's locally made and the best Sangria we've ever had! Also, don't miss out on Luquillo Beach (Playa Balneario Luquillo), The Camuy Caves, El Yunque Rainforest, Arecibo Observatory, and the two amazing forts in San Juan (Castillo de San Cristobal & El Morro)!! Make sure to rent a car, that way to can explore all over the mainland, there is so much to see you could spend weeks there!! = )

IN THE OCEAN

We had a wonderful stay. The beach was right below our windows. The water was high but it was adventure getting around the rocks. Which wasn't no problem. The neighbor-hood was friendly a lady cooked for us when we where sitting on the beach by the condo. The kiosos where fun to go to. We did many things and where very centrally located. I would diffenently come back to this condo again. Thank -you Elisabeth

Ocean breezes

We stayed at this condo for 2 wonderful weeks in February/March of this year. At 1st light we sat on the balcony to see the sun rise over the ocean. What a sight to start the day. The condo was very well equipped and quite comfortable. Ocean breezes cooled us during the day and at night. We did not need to use the air conditioning at all. Couldn't ask for more beautiful views of the ocean. As the water was high we had to walk to nearby beaches. Loquillo beach was great with it's chairs, food stand and bathroom facilities. It was a true relaxing R. & R. The weather was glorious everyday. It was a great experience Judy W.

We recently completed our second week long visit to this condo. We love the Luquilla Beach area and this condo is convenient to many activities while being secluded and restful. The rooftop terrace is fabulous for sun or shade and the sounds of the surf. The beds are comfy and the kitchen has all the basics. We will be back next year.

Great Getaway !!

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Lisa's condo !! We spent the entire month of Feb there & were thrilled to wake up each am to that wonderful view...While we could not swim on the beach in front of condo, the beach a few doors down was fantastic....Beautiful clear water with sandy bottom & warm temps...Didn't ever want to get out !!! The rooftop terrace was a real treat also....It was huge with beautiful views & had plenty of both sun or shade, whatever your pleasure....So nice to enjoy our meals up there & pina coladas....Wish we were back right now.. Lisa was wonderful & answered all questions promptly.. A car is almost a necessity even though you can walk to town.. An overall great experience...!! :)

A little bit of Heaven...

A Condo in Paradise is exactly the way to describe this condo. It was everything we imagined it would be and more. The views are amazing from each side. The sound of the crashing waves can only be described as "music" to our ears. They can be heard throughout the condo, so we were lulled to sleep every night by the Bello Mar (beautiful sea)...We truly felt we were living in our own home. Everything we needed was there. Everything was very clean and very well maintained. The private terrace alone is paradise. We spent many, many hours enjoying the terrace and all the beautiful scenery from above. We were there a full two weeks and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The neighbors we did meet were very friendly. We hope to return to this same condo for years to come and would HIGHLY recommend this little piece of paradise to anybody who plans to visit Luquillo Beach, PR. Although we didn't meet Elizabeth, I know just in the communications we had that she is a great woman, and we are blessed to have been welcomed into her life, so to speak, and will never forget her kindness in sharing her condo with us and others. It's an experience we will hold close to our hearts always. Until next year, God Bless...

I have been back less than a week and am ready to return to this incredible place on Luquillo beach. If you enjoy a homey and clean environment with stunning view, a roof top terrace that allows you to witness stunning sunrises, immaculate beaches with warm waters, then look no further and contact Elizabeth. The location is golden--only 40 minutes from airport and close to Old San Juan; 20 minutes to the ferry that takes to Culebra (one of the most stunning, underdeveloped beaches), 10 minutes to an enchanted rain forest where you can swim in a pool of water at the bottom of a waterfall. Yummy papaya and mango. The blender in the condo helps you whip up the most amazing smoothies. If you are into healthy food, stop in at Skia's vegetarian haven (village of Palmer--on the way to El Yunque). She also makes fresh fruit and vegies juices. Lots of local fruit stands and big grocery stores close by. I rented a car (inexpensive $100 a week unlimited kilometers from Thrifty's), arranged on line and services promptly. I am glowing from the nurturing experience of bathing in the crystal clear sea. The condo is surrounded by real people. No touristy feel. Remember you are visiting a Caribbean island where life happens a lot on the street. If you are looking for a sanitized surrounding, you may find that an all inclusive is more suited to your needs. This is a place where people go about their daily business. I loved it and felt always safe. Elizabeth is sweet like honey from the bee but also very professional. The key and gate opener arrived before hand at my house. Everything went smooth and was as anticipated. To sum it up in a few short words: go and visit Paradiso. In joy, Pangaea

Private rooftop made it paradise

Our trip was a last minute decision, and so Lisa was so willing to work with us and provided a place for us that was perfect for our vacation. The condo was in close proximity to some great attractions, the Yunque Rainforest (minutes away), Fajardo, Bio Bay, Luqillo beach, and the Kiosks and even Old Sand Juan was a nice drive (only about 30/40 min). It was so nice to be in the middle of everything. Our most FAVORITE part was the private rooftop! it was absolutely gorgeous, and it is really what sold us on the condo. It was perfect! It looks out on to the beach, we had a grill up there for lunch, and a nice bar! We spent almost every night and morning up on the rooftop listening to the waves crash! There wasn't much of a beach to lay out on, but we were able to take walks down the beach. The tide was high, but we were still able to walk along the beach and enjoy ourselves. While we were there, we did discover there was no oven, and the microwave wasn't working, but we found ways around it. We really have a great time, and are so thankful for Lisa and her willingness to make us feel as comfortable as possible. It truly faciliated the success of our vacation together!

We communicated almost every and every day, I ask if every thing was ok, You never mention to me that the microwave was not working, which is incorrect. When you use to many appliances at one time a breaker might trip and that was the case with the microwave which was unplug and the breaker was off, that was. all. I was only a phone call away and I would have called the manager to check it out and your problem would have been resolved. There is an oven grill microwave and a huge grill on the terrace I see no need to have an oven. I always check with my guest to be sure every thing is in order when they arrive It's just to bad you never mention any thing to me.
Before any guest arrive the manager goes out to My Condo in Paradise and checks every thing, if something is not working we call the repair crew and it is fixed right away. I'am so sorry for the lack of communication. I appreciate all the nice you said and so happy that you and your friens had such a great time.

This was a comfortable apartment in a great location. The beach is so close you feel like you're on a houseboat. The upstairs deck is huge and has fabulous views. The air conditioning didn't work when we got there, and it was twenty-four hours until it could be fixed, but other than that, all was in order. Right now, there's not much beach in front of condo because the tide is very close, but it's a short walking distance to Luquillo Beach, which is fabulous for swimming, and in a fun park with food kiosks nearby. In the other direction, very close, is Rio Mar beach, also wonderful. Close to El Yunque, too. All in all, a good place to stay.

Great Condo And An Amazingly Gracious Owner

We stayed in Liza's condo for 2 1/2 months from mid Jan through Mar 2012. The condo is very comfortable, very clean and very nicely decorated. And it has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. The front faces the ocean with panaronamic views of Luquillo Beach to the east and the palm lined shoreline to the west with views of the mountain and the rain forest to the back. The private roof terrace, which is the same size as the whole condo, is like having your own private resort. And, after spending the winter in several different condos during the last several years, Lisa's has the most confortable furinture of them all which is important when you are spending 2 1/2 months in the condo. Another important factor when you rent a condo is what happens if something should go wrong and the owner is back in the states or ??? Do not be concerned about this because Lisa called to make sure everything was OK and she is no further away than a phone call. Another big plus is that her sister lives nearby and is also a great lady and knows how go fix anything or knows someone who does and knows everything about the north and ease side of Puerto Rico. She was certainly a great source of information for us. In addition to being in such a great place to stay and having such caring people watching out for us is the location of the condo. It is near grocery, drug stores and some great restaurants in addition to the many kiosks which are within walking distance down the beach. We also enjoyed going to the Wyndam Rio Mar for English reading materials and dessert in the club house. Also nearby is Fajardo to the east and Old San Juan is only a short drive to the west. We enjoyed the drive up to Las Croabas from Fajardo with its sidewalk resturant at the northeastern tip of the island. Also, San Juan is only a short drive to the west. A pretty drive to San Juan is to go west and at the intersection of Rte 3 and Rte 66, go north to Loza then take Rte 187 along the ocean to San Juan. It is a quiet senic drive with very little traffic but we would not recommend it on the weekend. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay with great accommodations, great views, warm weather, lots of things to do you have found it!! And we must mention the friendly neighbors especially Jesus and Clari who are just across the hall. They were so gracious and even fixed a wonderful Puerto Rician dinner for us when we arrived.

nice but no beach

The condo was as describe except that the beach was no longer, it looks like mother nature had it way and the breakwall has been broken up so now the beach is no longer. Great condo for the price. Needs some repairs in the 2cd bathroom as the shower does not work too well. Their as some interesting sights on the street side as some of the residents have dogs, cats, chickens, roosters and even a horse and a parrot. They roam freely however really no bother to anyone staying at this condo. The view of the Rain forest is awesome!

During the winter the tide is high and covers most of the beach and that's why it's not the best time for swimming or walking on the shore. However there is a public beach less than 5 minutes away where this is not the case, and swimming is available 360 days out of the year. Starting February the water the water recedes and things return to normal. I am at the property myself now and see absolutely no issue with either bathroom whatsoever. The property is always inspected by the manager before guests arrive and if I had been contacted and there was an issue it would have been handled immediately. Seeing though that this is the first I have heard of this situation, no chance was given.

Relax in Paradise-best of both worlds

We had the pleasure of staying at Lisa's Cono for a week. The weather was perfect. The accomodations are exactly as pictured and more. I loved waking to the sound of the waves,walking for miles on the beach searching for sand dollars and conch shells. The Rainforest is visible from the rooftop where we had many cook outs and sipped morning coffee. It is close to the ferrys and the rain forest. You will need to rent a car. The local food is fresh. We attended a leatherback turtle festival in the town which was very informative. People are friendly and it is very safe. We took the kids for a snorkle adventure on a catamaran that was excellent. You will unwind and relax here. Lisa is an excellent hostess. If we had any questions or problems she was always a phone call away. You will not be dissappointed!!! We plan to visit again soon. Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach house with us!

Our family of 4 stayed for a week in this condo. While we ate at some wonderful restaurants close by, it was great to also enjoy grilling at home and hanging out on the upper deck - it has a spectacular view. This is truly a beach front property. Just a short walk down the beach was the entrance of the River, which provided spectacular views and a great playground for our 8 year old.

This property exceeded our expectations. The location and views from the rooftop veranda cannot be beat!! Lisa was also very helpful and provided lots of local resources for any problems or questions. I would highly recommend this property. Book it!!

A true home away from home experience-ON THE BEACH

Lisa's Luxury Condo was the perfect home base for my wife and I to explore the island. It's on the water...the waves lull you to sleep at night, and it's beautifully furnished with everything you need. And just a short drive ( or walk along the beach) to beachfront restaurants. We spent a lot of our time on the 1000 sq ft. deck on top of the building with clear views to the rainforest and ocean. It was great to kick back in the hammock and barbeque on the grill surrounded by Caribbean and the rainforest views. We'd highly recommend it for those who want a real "home away from home" experience. ---Tom and Bobbi
