We spent three days at this chalet, it's a great relaxing getaway with all the amenities of home. The two televisions with direct TV and DVD players kept the kids occupied while the adults relaxed on one of two porches. A full kitchen with a huge fridge made it feel like home but there is no wifi so this gets you out into the wilderness to explore nearby caverns or historic Luray, VA.

My stay there was for 3 days. It was cozy and had a great view. It was a little cramped for 6 of us. This website list things that the cabin didn't have. I suggest going to the company's site for the most accurate description. I also would call the 800 number instead of the local number for any problems or questions .

The description on this listing #1973 is VERY inaccurate. There is no pool table, no ping pong, no dishwasher, tub, The first sentence is misleading. You can not see a stitch of water from any window in the home. It is not "overlooking" any river, only tree's and mountains. There is however at least 50 steps with only 3 working lights outside. When we stayed we had a terrible time with not being able to use the grill on the deck, or sit out once it got dark due to no working outside lights. The company leaves a instruction sheet with numbers on it to contact them if you have concerns or questions. I called 3 times in 2 days and returned no call back. Bring your own food, plates and silverware. The cabinets had rodent droppings! Would not recommend this cabin. We stayed for 3 days & would of went home after 2 hours. My niece wanted her 30th bday on the river and all 5 of us drove in 5-7 hours one way. She was upset, and disappointed here as well as the rest of us.

We had a wonderful getaway. The cabin was everything we hoped for and more. Very clean and comfortable.

Cat/dog hair on everything. The jacuzzi had black things coming out of the jets and the water was gray and cloudy! Will never go back! We complained to them, but they didn't care because those places look pristine to the condition of their own home!
