Description of the Luray vacation cabin rental
Waterfront!

Cozy split oak log cabin overlooking idyllic private pond with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Quiet get-away surrounded by stately oak trees at the base of
Massanutten Mountain. Within “a stone’s throw” of the
incomparable Shenandoah River and a scenic 30-minute drive to Shenandoah National Park and minutes to Luray Caverns.
Enjoy ultimate peace and tranquility in the pond-front gazebo,
listening to a chorus of birds (accompanied by bullfrogs!) or
sizzling food on the adjoining barbecue deck. Or sit around a
large crackling bonfire on the newly constructed fire pit,
(firewood provided!).
Inside the cabin are cathedral ceilings for a spacious open
feeling, beautiful oak flooring throughout, rustic knotty pine
walls, and a large stone gas fireplace (for an instant cozy
fire!). Enjoy the modern fully equipped kitchen and dining
area with pond/mountain views, or “chill out” on the large
covered deck overlooking the pond. And a combination
bedroom/den with sliding glass door lets you enjoy the
wonderful open views from the comfort of your own room.

What to do when you’re not relaxing in the gazebo, eating on
the deck, or basking in front of a warm fire??

Lion and Crow Lodge

December 2, 2008

This is a very special place. A fully and I mean fully, furnished kitchen--- very clean facility. We had eleven people and were concerned about just one bathroom, but it worked out great. There was always plenty of wood for the fire and fantastic people to help us out if we had a need. The whole time (4 days) was wonderful and we definitely will be going back. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing, funfilled event. Hiking trails are near by, as well as the river. Go enjoy, you don't need to bring anything other than the food you might want--restaurants are near and a list provided.
