Description of the Luray vacation cabin rental
Absolute Perfect Escape Log Cabin #1 is a Luxury 6 bedroom log cabin located on 24 privately owned wooded acres with Panoramic views of the Shenandoah Valley below. Complete with log style furnishings, fully equipped kitchen to a huge great room with fireplace and large tv’s to an expansive Gameroom complete with a Pool Table and Air Hockey Table and included is a deluxe 6 person Hot Tub on the open deck perfect for relaxing and watching the flickering light from the stars above.
The lower level contains the Gameroom (complete with Pool Table,Mrs Pac Man arcade game, and Air Hockey) with a queen sleeper sofa, 2 spacious Bedrooms with queen log beds, 1 bedroom has 2 full log beds, the forth bedroom has 2 Bunkbeds for the kids both with a lower trundle bed (sleeps 6 people) and a large bathrooom.
The main level contains the Master Bedroom and Master Bath with a Jacuzzi for 2, both with vaulted ceilings. Also located on this second floor is a spacious Great room with cathedral ceilings, rock Fireplace with a wall mounted 42" LCD TV, open Dining room, fully equipped Kitchen, Laundry room, a half Bathroom and Foyer are all located on this floor with the main entrance (complete with a Handicapped ramp) located here.
The upper level contains a spacious Loft which you enter after ascending the impressive Heavy-timber staircase. The Loft has 2 queen sleeper sofas where you can relax and take in some of the views of the valley as you look across the Great room and out of the large windows. There is an additional bedroom with 2 queen log beds and a full bath on this third floor. All bedrooms except the Bunkbed room, have log furniture and a TV with a DVD player.
A large JenAir gas grill is located on the covered porch as are the Log rocking chairs. The adjoining open deck is where you will find the deluxe 6 person HOT TUB with waterfall and a Log picnic table. In the yard is the Log swing for 2, the fire pit, 2 park benches for 2 and above all else... THE VIEWS.

Great Weekend Get-a-way

20 adults stayed in cabin #4 and it was a fantastic weekend! The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of toilet paper and towels. The only thing we wish the cabin had was a stereo system! It is close to a vineyard (8 miles), beautiful views, a great hot tub and firepit! We will definitely go back!

Perfect Escape

Just got back from staying at both Macks Shack and the Chalet on the same property for 3 nights with a group of women for my Bachelorette Party instead of the usual crazy night around town...and I think it was the perfect idea and location. We were in the wilderness in a beautiful setting, the resort is about 20 minutes away, and the house itself is STUNNING...did not want to leave. It's a wonderful thing to see the stars when you live in a city, and to breathe fresh air instead of the congested stuff around here. Every room in this house was comfortable and there were more than enough amenities to keep us more than content. We could barely stay out of the hot tub! If you stumble across this gem, please take advantage. It was hard to leave because it was so much like our home than someone elses. :)

We came here for a family reunion. All seven grandchildren had an amazing time. The cabin was one of the most family friendly places we have ever stayed. There were plenty of baby toys, games for older children as well as for adults. The view of the mountains was absolutely incredible. There was a fun swing on the large deck where we could enjoy the view and get away from the noise from all the grandchildren:) The place was clean, the kitchen well equipped, and the owners were very nice and willing to fix any issues that we might have had. There was also an amazing blue stone gas fire place, plenty of flat screen T.V.s throughout the home, a wonderful outdoor hot tub and more. And oh yes, it had the best fire pit for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. We would highly recommend this vacation home for large groups. My only complaint was that our vacation came to an end. We wished that time had stayed still!

Absolute Gateway at the Perfect Escape Log Cabin

My family and I stayed 4 days at the “Absolute Perfect Escape Log Cabin #1” located in Luray, Virginia. It was the most beautiful vacation experience we’ve ever had. The cabin is located on top of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains with an amazing view. The place was spotless; the owners have done an excellent job keeping the place clean. You literarily don’t need to bring anything except your food/drinks. The place is fully equipped with many kitchen appliances and towels, sheets/pillows, blankets and so forth are provided. It was the most beautiful, spotless, spacious and welcoming Cabin in Luray VA. Most of all, we were amazed with the services rendered by the owners. They were very welcoming, nice and made us feel at home. When we ran out of propan, we contacted the owner and it took only 10 minutes for him to refill our tank without us having to leave our Cabin. My nephew called the owner to ask for the nearest basketball court and he suggested the most beautiful recreation park where everyone in our group found some sort of activity to do. There was 24 in our group with kids of different age groups and we could not even tell that there were so many of us inside the Cabin because the place is so big that we were able to spread out in various rooms on the different floors. I would love to go back there again and I guarantee that anyone’s stay at the Cabin will be an amazing experience.

Spent four nights at this nicely equipped and well maintained cabin. It is exactly as described....nice kitchen, huge deck, wonderful view, very comfortable beds and pillows and an outdoor fire pit and swing. Close to Skyline Drive, New Market and Luray. Highly recommended!
