Blue Moon Cabin--A Relaxing getaway in the Shenandoah Valley.
The Blue Moon Cabin offers peace of mind and enjoyment. It is located 9 miles from the town of Luray in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley within a 1/2 mile of the Shenandoah River. This rustic yet modern log cabin is perfect for a family vacation or a romantic getaway. Blue Moon Cabin features two bedrooms, both with Queen Beds, and a double futon in the loft. The fully equipped Kitchen leads to a spacious Dining and Living Room area with hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and is complemented by a gas log fireplace. Outside on the deck in beautiful wooded surroundings there is a Hot Tub for relaxing in the fresh mountain air. Blue Moon Cabin is open year round. The cabin in Non Smoking and pets are welcome!

Area Information

Blue Moon Cabin is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley between the Massanutten and Blue Ridge mountains.It is within walking distance of the popular Shenandoah River Outfitters Canoe Company. Other popular attractions nearby include Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, and Luray Caverns. For winter sports enthusiasts, Massanutten and Bryce Ski Resorts are a short 45-minute drive.

Beautiful cabin, clean, efficient, well-equipped. Enjoyed both the charcoal grill and fire pit, and front porch, esp in the morning. Great access to the river, and we enjoyed our canoe trip from the bridge. Since there were four of us, I'd add an easy chair for the LR, and another rocker for the front porch. No view, but certainly enjoyed the peace and quiet and very little traffic. Thank you for sharing your lovely place.

Girl's Getaway Weekend

Found this place for a group of 6 of us young female working professionals to get away from it all and to catch up! The location was beautiful, the cabin was simply decorated but modern, and the amenities- we couldn't have asked for more! The hot tub was awesome, the fire pit was so nice to sit around and we were within reasonable distance of Luray and the hiking trails in the Shenendoah Mountains. Would recommend this place to anyone!! The owner was very friendly and responsive in our correspondence as well.
