Description of the Luray vacation cabin rental

The beautiful Falling Leaf Cabin is nestled between the Massanutten and Blue Ridge Mountains. The secluded cabin sits on 3 wooded acres. Private access to the Shenandoah River is within a 1/4 mile walk.

Whether you are here for a romantic weekend, family gathering or simply to get away from it all, once you visit Falling Leaf Cabin you will never want to leave.

The Falling Leaf Cabin is privately owned and family operated offering you a clean cabin with all the comforts of home in the Shenandoah Valley.

The Falling Leaf Cabin features 2 bedrooms, Queen Beds in each. The main bedroom is a spacious loft with sky lights while the large second bedroom has a gas log fireplace with private 1/2 Bath. The fully equipped Kitchen leads to a cozy back deck overlooking the Massanutten Mountain with a beautiful view of the Shenadoah River from late fall to early spring. The Living Room offers a real wood burning stone fireplace with 18' vaulted ceilings. The log cabin has 1 Full Bath and 1/2 Bath, hardwood and tile floors throughout complement this cozy retreat.

Outside, listen to the sounds of the river as you relax on the large deck in the 4 person Hot Tub. Adjacent to the Hot Tub, a fire pit and picnic table await those who desire a camping experience.

The Falling Leaf Cabin is open year round for you to enjoy a quiet retreat in all of the seasons.

Area Information

The cabin is located just outside the quaint town of Luray, Virginia and within a 30 minute drive of many popular attractions such as Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, Luray Caverns and Golf Course and horseback riding. For winter sports enthusiasts, Massanutten Ski Resort is a short 45 minute drive.

romantic weekend getaway

Our stay at Falling Leaf Cabin was great. It was very clean, nicely decorated. The hot tub was relaxing on the lower deck, and it felt pretty secluded. there were cabins in the area, but you couldn't see them due to the folliage and trees. We cooked out on the grill and sat on the back deck which has a glider and rocker. Lots of woods and private. Your typical stores like Walmart aren't far away and it's close to Luray Caverns. The kitchen is fully equipt with a nice fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and range/oven. Dishes (modern), silverware are included. Good shower. Natural light filters in through skylights and windows. Nice!

This little cabin is wonderful. VERY clean and comfy. Excellent soft queen beds. It was a quiet comfortable cabin in the woods. Two nice decks to sit out on, one upper level off back of cabin over looking woods and one at ground level with the hot tub. I just enjoyed sitting and reading. It was the perfect place for relaxing. exactly what I was looking for in a retreat. Owners are extremely nice. My dog loved the cabin. (didn't like the open stairs but since we slept in basement (very cool down there) this wasn't a problem.
