We stayed at the Crow's Roost and it was amazing!! They cabin was unlocked and ready for our arrival. There was coffee and spices left by previous vistors. We left a non-stick pan as our gift to the cabin. The manager's only bothered us to discuss final payment, otherwise I felt liked I own the cabin for the weekend. The location was amazing, we were in George National State Park and less than 20 miles from Shenandoah! The cabin had plenty of towels, blankets, bed sheets; however, the fold out couch is very old and the uncomfortable to sleep on. Not to worry though, I did have a air mattress and that solve the problem!! Although we did not watch movies or read the books that were provided to us, we definitely apprecieated that they were there. We did play monopoly and BINGO, pool and darts!! At one point we had 12 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs and we had more than enough room for them!! The kitchen is a bit small, so beware if you really like to cook. I was happy that there was a washer/dryer and a extra fridge in the game room. We had a blast. Thank you!!

You will not be disappointed with this mountain hideaway! Just far enough out of town , but close enough to everything. Loved the extra touch of hot chocolate and mircowave popcorn.

The first time and each time after when we walked in we felt like we were at home. The cabin was clean and cozy. We spent 3 nights and fixed our dinners and ate in front of the fire place. Not a care in the work.Everything anyone needs to relax is there. We plan on going back and have already told friends and co workers about the great time we had in our home away from home in the woods.
