Description of the Luray vacation cabin rental
Welcome to Sundance! A cabin where these words are never more true. Sundance is located on 54 acres of riverfront property along the banks of the historic Shenandoah River and offers a sweeping western view of the Massanutten Mountains and some of the most spectacular sunsets you will ever see.
Built in October 2011, Sundance is a deluxe 1 bedroom cabin with an equal amount of indoor and outdoor living space. As soon as you arrive you will step into one of the most magnificent views offered in the Shenandoah Valley. Sundance offers a spacious living room with a gas log fireplace, flat screen (satelite) TV, DVD, High Speed Internet and stereo. The kitchen is fully equipped and for dining you have the option of eating either inside or outside under the large 10’ x 40’ covered porch where you can enjoy nature at best. On the covered porch you will also find a 4 person Hot Tub that is open all year round. The bedroom has a queen bed, ceiling fan and a patio door where you can step out onto the covered porch and find the mountains in all directions.. Both the living room and bedroom offer a 14 foot cathedral ceiling and all natural wood trim. Sundance was designed with the outdoors in mind. Wherever you move throughout the cabin you will never lose sight of the mountains that surround her.
A short 1/4 mile walk through the field will take you to the river where you can relax under the shade of the sycamore trees, dip your feet into the Shenandoah or have a relaxing evening around a fire. (The riverfront is solely for the use of our guest at Sundance and Walden. #69174)
No matter where you come from, once you arrive at Sundance you will agree with the age old saying, “Nature never goes out of style”.

This place was absolutely clean and well-maintained. I loved all of the extra amenities like WiFi, the DVD selection, and, most importantly, the very nice ipod dock and sound system! It is great for a couple's get away. The hot tub was hot and ready when we arrived. The porch, bedroom, living room, and kitchen are all looking out toward the mountain landscape - amazing view! A walk down to the river front. FYI - there are no curtains in the bedroom which steps out onto the porch which may be weird for friends and family, but perfect for a couple. We would love to come back again.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. The views are so spectacular from the bedroom at Sundance that we decided to put curtains only on the windows. With the privacy the deck offers we thought waking to that gorgeous view was so much more satisfying without curtains on the sliding glass door. Thank you for coming to our cabin in the mountains.

This cabin is very clean and new. It has views from the deck with a hot tub, a walk to the river where you'll find chairs and a fire pit, close proximity to hiking in the Shenandoah National Park and touring Luray Cavern. There is a full kitchen, dishwasher, stackable washer and dryer, large walk in shower, gas fireplace, wireless internet and a hot tub. We enjoyed our four night stay over Thanksgiving and had wonderful weather. You'll feel secluded like a cabin but have the luxuries of a home.

The pictures do not do Sundance justice! This cabin is amazing. The mountain views are absolutely stunning! We woke up to them every morning right outside the bedroom. And you see the mountains no matter where you are in the cabin. Sundance is very secluded and just what we were looking for. Lots of privacy! Something they don't mention is the shower! It's great! A huge walk-in, open, all tile shower with a rain-type shower head. Perfect for hopping into right after hopping out of the hot tub! And the town around the cabin is so quiet and quaint. I daydreamed about retiring to a little mountain town like that. But it isn't too secluded. Only an 8 mile drive away from Sundance gets you to a Wal-mart and Food Lion in case there is something you forgot at home! We completely loved our stay and hope we get the chance to go back again! We would recommend this cabin to anyone!

Breathtaking views, beautiful house, amazing stay

My husband and I came to this cabin to get away for a couple of days. The house was great! It was new, clean & perfect! Loved having a full service kitchen to cook in and the fire place was just what we needed morning and/or evening! The hot tub was very enjoyable, the weather was perfect for it. The view from the deck (where the hot tub is) was just absolutely amazing. We enjoyed our walks to the river which was a great scenery to take lots of pics. The cabin is relatively close to Skyline Drive, which was stunning at this time of year! We didn't get to do Luray Caverns (which is 7 miles from the cabin) but it's on our list next time when we bring our daughter! We enjoyed a great meal at Artisan's Grill in the Town of Luray. This stay was perfect for us, enjoyed one another company with no close by neighbors or road noise, just the silence of nature!! We will definitely be back again next year!

The pictures just can't convey it all! The feeling of serenity, seclusion and peacefulness are unbelievable here. Beautiful sunsets from the hot tub and it was so relaxing even with the cold temperatures and wind (we even had snow flurries). We enjoyed our walk down to the river and checking out all the deer tracks. The gas fireplace was right on time. The cabin is new and the owners were very helpful. We can't wait to return to paradise!!
