This cozy, romantic "A-frame" chalet is an ideal
honeymoon haven, or anniversary hide-out with a loft
bedroom, facing east to a window wall to watch the
morning sunrise. Relax in the living room by the
fireplace, firewood included. Dove's Nest Chalet has a fully equipped modern kitchen with full bathroom. So enjoy the view from the loft or at ground level, or on the deck
from where you can see thirty miles down the valley.

Nearby activities range from canoeing, tubing, kayaking, swimming and fishing in the South Fork of the Shenandoah River, to hiking and horseback riding in Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and the George Washington National Forest, to visiting local antique stores and flea markets, to touring civil war battle fields, awesome caverns and nearby vineyards. Then too, there is time for just propping up your feet and watching and listening to the calls of over 100 varieties of local birds. There is also guided fishing and hunting around Luray, VA.
