Description of the Luray vacation cottage rental

You begin your vacation on the drive to the Cottage.See spectacular mountain views as you descend past Historic Fort Stover.
Once at the cottage you will open up to a lovely, well equipped kitchen.Enter the living area, with a gorgeous hand made rock fireplace.Go up the spiral staircase leading to the loft area,with large beams.
Open the doors to the sun room, bar area, and then on to the deck area.The deck overlooks the Shenandoah River.
The deck area calls out for romance and relaxation.There is a 2 person porch swing and a brand new 6-person hot tub with over 50 jets!For your barbecuing needs there is a large gas grill,or if cooking with sticks is more your style, go to the bonfire area,roast marshmallows under the stars.
Fish, Swim,Tube or just relax.
There is also the large yard for some touch football or fetch with your pooch.

Area Description

If you feel the need to leave,there are all the attractions of the Shenandoah Valley nearby.Luray Caverns,Luray Zoo,Shenandoah River Outfitters,Hiking Trails at Shenandoah National Park and the George Washington National Forest.
In the winter Massanutten Ski Resort is 45 minutes,if skiing is the ticket,or there indoor water park.

The quaint town of Luray is 7 miles away,if you want to buy some local crafts,or try the many side walk cafes.
There also numerous vineyards nearby, as well as horseback riding stables.

Thanks for such a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean and cozy and I can't say enough how beautiful the riverfront property was. We caught so many fish in the river and enjoyed time around the multiple campfires. Thanks again!

My family had a great time at the cottage. The setting was spectacular with the mountain views and the river in our backyard, and the cottage was very cozy, just what we were looking for. We hope to visit again!

Overall the property was great. It was nice and secluded and we loved the hot tub & fire pit. The only complaint I have is that the instructions say to take your garbage with you but does not say where to bring it. When you have a packed car and a 3 hour drive it would help.

I stayed there with some friends. This house is just perfect! It fits 7 people. When we arived, everything was clean and nice. The place where it is, is awesome, you can see the mountains and the back yard ends at the Shenandoah River. On the back porch is a big grill and a big hot tub (when you are sitting in there, can you see the river) If you are looking for a place to relax and feel free and good, book this house! :) We had an awesome weekend there!
