The Red Cottage was magnificent and the entire experience was spectacular. From the moment of arrival it was clear that we had made the right choice for a place of tranquility. One of my favorite moments was by the fireplace...where she said "YES!" Thank you for opening your home to us where we could be reminded of the God that we serve.

We had a wonderful vacation with the cabin that we rented for four nights. The cabin had everything we needed for a family of 5 with children of the age groups of 10 & under. The cabin has a wonderful view of Lake Superior and yet tucked away in the woods that you have total peace with the world as you would think nobody is around you. We will definitly be back. Thank You! Jackie Burns

Such a charming cabin so close to Lake Superior. The only negative was the condescending attitude of a Greta (who was supposed to answer some simple questions). Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

My girlfriends and I (7 total) spent the this past weekend in a wonderful cabin near Lutsen Minnesota. Our weekend get-away was the Red Cottage on Lake Superior and it was wonderful. The cabin is cozy and has everything a weekend renter could need and want. The cabin is right on the water and the sound of the waves hitting the rocks put us all into a state of happy relaxation. The two bedrooms are quite spacious and decorated with a fun shabby chic cottage look. It all looks just like the photos on the web site, honest! The fireplace in the living room and the furnishing gave us a place to relax, chat, eat and enjoy our time away from the hectic days back home. Thank you to the owners of this haven up north for allowing others to enjoy your Red Cottage on Lake Superior! We all agreed that this was the best weekend getaway we have had in a long time, and are looking at our planners to reserve another long weekend at the Red Cottage on Lake Superior. If you are thinking about a trip up the shore, check this place - you will not be disappointed.

The classic cabin on Lake Superior is the perfect getaway spot. It has been beautifully furnished and updated with 2 bathrooms. The point on the lake with the fire pit is a beautiful place for daydreaming during the day or roasting marshmallows at night. You won't be disappointed.
The cottage was so cozy and tastefully decorated. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds and sheets were very comfortable to sleep in. The cabin owner was responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. The view of Lake Superior was simply amazing. We look forward to going back sometime in the summer to enjoy a campfire and smores on the shore under the stars. A very private slice of heaven!
