Lakeside House: Vacation for Family and Friends

This home is located .5 miles from the Kennebunk Pond Road, on Kennebunk Pond in Lyman, Maine. The lake is spring fed and is ideal for swimming, boating, fishing, and relaxing. This house is a 4 bedroom home located on the water’s edge. There is a dock for easy accessibility into the water and boats. The water depth is very gradual and the bottom is sandy with light gravel making walking on the bottom comfortable for the feet.

The house has sliding glass doors on the first floor just off of a long living area. To the rear of the first floor living area are 3 bedrooms; one bedroom has twin beds; another has a queen bed; the third has bunk beds which can be separated if requested. Exiting through the sliding glass doors brings you to a shady lawn overlooking the pond.

Climbing the spiral staircase will take you to the second floor. Here is the laundry area, another entrance from outside, and combination kitchen and living room which has a dining room table at the picture window and breakfast bar with three bar stools. Off of the kitchen and living area
is a bathroom with a shower, another bedroom with a queen bed, There is a futon for additional sleeping.

The caretakers live on the property over the garage. This allows for flexible check in and checkout, other additional services listed below, quick response to maintenance issues, directions or guide services. This area may also be rented for additonal rent adding more bedrooms, kitchen and a full bath.

There is plenty of parking, including an RV, with easy access to the water.

Great swimming and boating! Some "water toys" are available. A row boat,canoe, life jackets and perhaps other boats are available at no extra charge!

This property is available year round.

Kennebunk Pond is spring fed and stocked with trout and bass twice a year which provides fishing in the summer and ice fishing in the winter. This is a 224 acre lake with 4 miles of shore line located in York County, Maine. Summer days are in the 80s and the nights are in the 50s. During the winter the highs are in the 30s and the lows in the teens overnight. The coordinates are Latitude: 43.50278 and Longitude: 70.64722.


Kennebunk Pond is located a short driving distance from Portland, Scarborough, Old Orchard Beach, Saco, Biddeford, Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Wells and Ogunquit. There visitors will find harbors, beaches, shopping, dining, and amusements for children. Driving northwest for 1.5 hours will take you to the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

NASCAR racing is located in Louden, NH about 1.5 hours away.
