Casa Menta is a newly restored country house in rural location with a private pool, south facing terraces, large portico and courtyard close to a medeival hill top town.
The house sleeps eight and has been finished to a high standard capturing the character and charm of this old house. The views from the house, grounds and pool are astonishing, the sibillini mountains prvide a stunning back drop with rolling valleys, hills and hill top towns.
@ double bedrroms private bathrooms and two more twin bedded rooms share a shower room. The internal wooden shutters and terracotta floors help keep the ohuse cool in the hot summer months.The house is comfortably and tastefully furnished with some antiques and some country furniture. A pretty country style kitchen is well equipped with every mod con. A large, covered south facing loggia provides a perfect eating and chilling out area with a courtyard to the isde its beds stacked with lavender, roses and laurel. The southfacing pool terrace below the house has a shaded loggia also and cooking facilities. A huge wild meadow provides a play ground for children with a hammock under a fig tree. Olives trees and vines grow here alongside the wild flowers. A small flock of sheep graze in th nieghbouring field.Although in a rural location you can walk 15 minutes easy stroll into the nearest town sant angelo in pontano which has 3 good restaurants, bars, bank and shops. It is a beautiful medie val hill top town vibrant and thriving. A stroll up for morning coffee or an evening stroll up for the passagiata and a glass of proscecco enrich your already wonderful experience of staying at Casa Menta amoungst is unique beauty and charm.

The area is full of fascinating and beautiful hill top towns each with something is make it unique.
MAcerata is the nearestlarge city and again is beautiful old walled city with high quality shopping, restaurants and an open air opera season every summer.
The area is well known for its designer outlets and shopping is a must.
The mountains for trekking, skiing, swimming, sight seeing are 40 mins max.
The coast with the adriatic sea and white long sandy beaches are 45 mins drive.
cultural gems such as Loreto, Ascoli Piceno and Urbino all easily accessable for a day trip. As is Assisi and Perugia in neighbouring Umbria.
Rome and bologna 3 hours 30 mins.
Closest airport 1 hr 10. ancona/stansted/liverpool with ryan air.
