Rent our cute, brand-new, three bedroom detached home nestled between the 11th and 17th fairways on Mackinac Island. Spend a month on the most romantic island anywhere. Bicycles and horse carriages rule this island because automobiles were banned over 100 years ago.
We use our family home every July, but you can use it any other time. A winter visit should include Christmas and New Years, with horse drawn sleigh rides.
You will have a fully furnished home that sleeps 6 in the bedrooms, and can accommodate 9 total. Access to the island is no problem with the regular boat ferries and airplane access. Bring your bikes, enjoy the horses, savor life without automobiles, and sample the Island’s world-famous fudge!

Mackinac Island is primarily Michigan State Park land.
While the island is only 8 miles around its outer banks, there are dozens of miles of trails throughout the island. Walk the trails, bike the trails, or rent a horse and ride the trails. On horseback, it takes about 20 hours to ride all the trails.
There are two 18 hole golf courses on the island, and tee times are generally easy to obtain.
The Victorian downtown bustles with shops of all sorts, saloons, wonderful restaurants, and world famous fudge stores.
Historic sites abound all over the island, including the Mackinac Island fort with daily reenactments of a soldier's life on the Island of yesteryear. This island was a booming metropolis before Detroit or Chicago were even blips on the map. Now it is a sleepy resort town.
For fans of the movie "Somewhere In Time" the island's scenery will look very familiar. It was all filmed right here.
