Great Complex / Excellent Location

April 5, 2012

The Yacht is well maintained. Enjoyed the pool, exercise room and whirlpool. 5 minutes from Gulf beach, grcery store and restaurants. The unit we rented could be updated. Also we had to exterminate some ants & bugs and clean the dishwasher which was clouding the glasses with calcium. Most of this could have been a result of the previous renter. Victoria at Florida Vacation Rentals was a great help in helping solve the problems. The complex was a 4 star but the unit we rented was only a 3 star, In general, we enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year

Great!

March 3, 2012

We spent the month of February at this resort. The condo was clean and very comfortable. We had a view of the Marina, but not a full view as we thought. The resort is located right across the street from the beautiful, white sand beach. It is in walking distance to many restaurants, especially Lattitudes which is right next door (fabulous). We are hoping to return next year, hopefully for two months. The staff was pleasant and very accommodating. Can't say enough....definately would return.

WHY?

April 2, 2011

Why isn't there a sliding sreen door? Why wasn't there any wash cloths? Why didn't the lamp in the living room work? Why did the dish washer sqeal when we ran it? Why were we told this unit was a two bedroom, when it's really a one bedroom with den? All this was brought to the attention of the on site associates, and none were resolved. Needless to say are reservations for 2012 are at a more reliable resort.

not worth the $$$$$

April 5, 2010

This was our first time to the area! The codo unit 605 was expensive, we paid extra for the space. It was spacious but the bed was extremely hard....so hard that we had spend $100 for a matress topper to be able to sleep. On top of that, the master is located by a very busy road (which we were told was not busy) & backed up to elevator area. So there was noise all night long!!! The carpet was in need of a deep cleaning or replacement. The bathroom sinks were very slow to drain & the shower had poor pressure. Also, there is no safe way to cross the street from this resort especially if u have young children The pool was extremely small & located on the side in the parking lot! I do not recommend this unit.....was soooo not worth the $ we spent.

false advertising

March 27, 2009

We rented this condo for the whole month of Feb., 2009-was promised a great view which was actually an old fish house, with no water in sight! Also, daily maid service promised at N.C. was actually $25.00 per visit! We had to buy all cleaning supplies, etc.out of pocket. The unit was adequate, but very dark and gloomy. View from balcony was horrible and we had to look at it for the entire month. Had we not paid with our debit card we would never have stayed there. Beware of false advertising from this owner. A very disappointing vacation!!!!!! we complained to the owner, but received no satisfation, or even a call back to see how we were doing!

Will Return

February 28, 2009

The condo was the perfect size for the four of us adults. Clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. The nearby shopping/restaurants were easily within walking distance. If you like the touristy beach area, you'll love this location. If you like a secluded beach, stay in this condo and take the short drive south...

Beautiful beach, convenient location

April 24, 2008

We had a wonderful week at the Madeira Bay resort. Loved the beach - very clean and not too busy. The pool was small but wonderfully warm!!! The access to John's Pass was great - just a couple block walk - no need to put the kids in the car at the end of the day to go out to eat! Saw quite a few dolphins on the boardwalk - really enjoyed the Pirate Ship cruise. We would come back again in a heartbeat! Because of the proximity to the road, traffic noise can be heard in the master bedroom. We got used to it but some may find it bothersome.
