Description of the Magnolia Beach vacation cottage rental

As comfortable for two honeymooners as it is a great place for families. When people step in the door, they usually "ooh and aah" over how nice it is and the beachy decor!!

Conveniently located between Port O'Connor and Port Lavaca on the Texas Gulf Coast, Magnolia Cottage is truly your home away from home. Comfortably furnished with all the amenities of home, but at the beach. Ample parking and a place to park your boat, as well.

Recommendations from clients: "The kids especially enjoyed the stay . . .one grandchild said 'I wish we could live here!'" KC; "We love your little cottage. The kitchen was perfect! We prepared a Thanksgiving dinner for 13 people. We really took advantage of all your little extras" DB; The cottage is very nice and clean--real roomy." TG This cottage is a true treasure and your vacation here will be one remembered with fond memories for a long, long time. Small pets may be allowed, but decided on an individual basis. :-)

Almost totally handicapped accessible as it is on one floor. Magnolia Cottage is a sister property to Gardenia Cottage next door. Great for a mini-family reunion.

Pets considered with $30 pet fee.

Area Information

Magnolia Beach is a family friendly beach you can also drive on. Fishing in the bay or at the nearby marina, a place to crab and a boat launch on the free beach.

Hiking, shelling, swimming, relaxing, dolphins in the bay, & gambling boats a short trip away for the adventurous. And duck hunting during the fall/winter season. Pets possible.

The Gardenia Cottage

We had a wonder time staying at the Gardenia Cottage. Very cute, clean, and it had everything we needed to have a great time with my family. Walking distance to the beach and great fishing a few miles further. Thank you very much for our stay and we will be back soon.

Magnolia Beach Cottage

We had a great time while staying at the Gardenia Cottage owned by Joyce Pratt. She was great to work with. Cottage was very clean, well furnished, super air conditioning, and included Dish TV. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We visited the beach during mornings and evenings - and traveled to Port Lavaca, Port O'Connor, and Indianola during the day. All in all a very pleasant and enjoyable experience! :-)

A family home atmosphere. Lots of light, cool a/c, comfortable beds and best of all free of mold/insects. Short distance to beach. You will love the decor. 10 people can move around, cook, and eat comfortably in the great open kitchen, dining area.

We had a great time. There was pretty much everything that we needed. Make sure you wear mosquito repellent, they can get mighty bad. Make friends with the locals, they rock. Cheers to Joyce and hope to rent this house out again soon.

We had a wonderful time. The property was exactly as described and more than we could have hoped for. Attention to detail at the property was excellent. Everything you could think of was provided from dishes to towels to bed coverings to deck chairs, etc. Proximity to the beach was just a couple of blocks, so we could drive or walk.
