Description of the Magnolia Beach vacation cottage rental

As comfortable for two honeymooners as it is a great place for families. When people step in the door, they usually "ooh and aah" over how nice it is and the beachy decor!!

This comfy beach house is conveniently located between Port O'Connor and Port Lavaca on the Texas Gulf Coast,

Gardenia Cottage is truly your home away from home. Comfortably furnished with all the amenities of home, but at the beach. Full kitchen, all linen, appliances, washer/dryer, DISH TV, movies, books, magazines all with central air and heat. Ample parking and a place to park your boat, as well.

Officially only 2 bedrooms, but the air conditioned and heated enclosed porch acts like a 3rd bedroom. Plenty of room at 1100 square feet.

Almost totally handicapped accessible as it is on one floor. Gardenia Cottage is a great for a mini-family reunion.

Pets considered with $30 pet fee. Fenced yard

Area Information

Magnolia Beach is a family friendly beach you can also drive on. Fishing in the bay or at the nearby marina, a place to crab and a boat launch on the free beach.

Hiking, shelling, swimming, relaxing, dolphins in the bay, & crabbing. Conveniently located in the middle of the Texas coast for daytrips to other locations, as well. And duck hunting during the fall/winter season.
Pets possible with$30 fee, fenced yard.

We had a wonder time staying at the Gardenia Cottage. Very cute, clean, and it had everything we needed to have a great time with my family. Walking distance to the beach and great fishing a few miles further. Thank you very much for our stay and we will be back soon.

Magnolia Beach Cottage

We had a great time while staying at the Gardenia Cottage owned by Joyce Pratt. She was great to work with. Cottage was very clean, well furnished, super air conditioning, and included Dish TV. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We visited the beach during mornings and evenings - and traveled to Port Lavaca, Port O'Connor, and Indianola during the day. All in all a very pleasant and enjoyable experience! :-)

A family home atmosphere. Lots of light, cool a/c, comfortable beds and best of all free of mold/insects. Short distance to beach. You will love the decor. 10 people can move around, cook, and eat comfortably in the great open kitchen, dining area.

We had a wonderful time. The property was exactly as described and more than we could have hoped for. Attention to detail at the property was excellent. Everything you could think of was provided from dishes to towels to bed coverings to deck chairs, etc. Proximity to the beach was just a couple of blocks, so we could drive or walk.
