Description of the Maho Bay vacation villa rental

Sunnyledge is located above Francis Beach, on St. John's North Shore -- one of the most beautiful beaches on St. John. Sunnyledge provides for amazing ocean views from everywhere in the house. To the west the lights of St. Thomas sparkle at night while to the northeast Tortola feels like a stone's throw away. Located in a prime location on the North Shore, Sunnyledge provides easy access to numerous beaches, water sport activities, sightseeing, and light dining. Francis Beach is a ten minute walk from Sunnyledge while Leinster Bay is a 20 minute walk. Water sports and restaurant services are available at the Maho Bay Campgrounds which is a short 5 minute walk.

Sunnyledge is completely equipped with everything you will need for your island getaway. Sunnyledge has three large bedrooms, each with oversized showers. A fully equipped kitchen, both inside and outside dining areas, a large and comfortably furnished great room, and plenty of deck space, both shaded and sunny, to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway for two, or a home to comfortably accommodate six people, Sunnyledge is the perfect place.

Two thirds of St. John has been incorporated into the Virgin Islands National Park. Sunnyledge is an inholding in the Park and is bordered on 3 sides by Park owned land.

Most of the Park activities take place on the North Shore. Weekly guided bird watching walks start just a 5 min. walk from Sunnyledge. Partially restored Annaberg Suger Mill, with a self-guided tour of the ruins and descriptions of the sugaring process is a 15 min. walk from Sunnyledge.

Two thirds of St John is national park so there are many hiking trails and much unspoiled beauty. There are many amenities at Maho Bay Campground which is a short walk. Tourist activities, shopping, and restaurants are available in Cruz Bay, approximately 30 minutes drive.
The twin beds may be joined to make a 3rd king bed.

• Deposits: To confirm reservation, a deposit of 50% is required within one week after reservation has been made. After receiving your deposit a confirmation will be sent to you. The balance of the rental amount plus tax is due 60 days prior to your arrival. If your preferred dates are not shown as available: ask anyway; some of the occupied time is for upkeep. We may have some flexibility.
   
• Other Fees: Rates shown are for use of 2 bedrooms/ 1-4 persons. Higher rates for 3 bedrooms. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year rates are higher: Please inquire. You may start your rental on any day of the week. There is a charge for stays of less than a week.

There is no way to put into words how exceptional and beautiful Sunnyledge is. It's an extraordinary home on an incredible island, and if a better place in the world exists, I haven't seen it yet. Do yourself a favor and rent this perfect place.

St. John is great and Sunnyledge only makes it better. The villa is a palace. It is so well decorated, furnished and comfortable that it's hard to leave the house. The sunsets are as good as it gets. We can't wait to return.

We stayed in Sunnyledge for spring break 2005. This was our fourth year in a row to rent a villa on the Island. This one is perfect! The views, the woodwork, the furnishings, and last but not least, the master bath shower! You'll never want to leave. It was nice to have Maho so close that you could walk to breakfast if you want. They also have great dinners and views to match. We liked how easy it was to get to the North Shore beaches. I could go on and on. Feel free to contact me for more information.
