There are 2 championship 18 hole golf courses less than a mile away. Deep sea fishing 5-minutes away at the Waianae boat harbor. SCUBA at "Maui Divers," surfing at the Makaha Surfing Beach. Go snorkeling, hiking, walk the beach or just relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the old Hawaii.
Only 11 miles from the newest resort on Oahu The Ko Olina Resort and Marina with the Award-Winning J.W. Marriott Ihilani full service Spa Resort, 2 Wedding Chapels, 4 Tropical Beach swimming Lagoons, the islands' best Luau at Paradise Cove and fine dining. There is also a water park, movie theaters, shopping and casualrestaurants in Kapolei.
Nearby snorkeling, SCUBA diving, para-sailing, boating, fishing, sailing, boating, surfing, windsurfing, scenic island drives and guided activities available, including whale watching and dolphin swims. Drive to Polynesian Cultural Center, Hanauma Bay, downtown Honolulu, shopping, Waikele Premium Outlets (brand-name retailers), food
markets, Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park (a swimming theme park), 16-plex movie theater, Historic Ewa Town, Hawaii's Plantation Village in Waipahu, Dole Cannery in Kunia, and a nice drive to the surfing town of Haleiwa.
Not too distant shopping centers and malls include K-Mart, Wal-Mart,Macy’s, Sears, Costco, Sam’s Club, island boutiques and pro shops.
Makaha is only one hour from Waikiki by car, public bus is available right to the Makaha Valley Plantation gate (#40A). So you can still enjoy the shopping and night life of Honolulu and the rest of Oahu, but enjoy Makaha's tranquillity, authentic cultural setting, and the beauty of its star-filled night skies, clean sandy beaches stretching for days - without hordes of hula-shirted tourists

Great place to stay if you want the best views, the peacefulness of the wild life, or do not want all the hustle & bussel of the city nights. This is a great quite place to just sit back and relax in Ohao. I will stay again and recommend this for anyone. It is within driving distance of everything but the view are incredible. Nestled in between to mountain ranges with the peacocks great you every morning. The full kitchen lets you do what you want on your vacation. Highly recommend this condo and its safe and gated community.

All the way from Grande Prairie, Ontario, we came to enjoy the sun, beach and homey accommodations. This will become an annual trip for our family. Hollings and Bets Kirby.
I came for golf, she came for beach and surf. We both were completely delghted with the accommodations and easy access to the things we love. Bernie and Art Henke, Arcadia, CA
Kids loved the peacocks, pool and beach. We loved everything - and did not miss the "tourist traps" a bit. Best family vacation in years. Mike and Tyne Halveldsen, Pipestone, MN
