Description of the Makaha vacation condo rental

Thank you (Mahalo) for inquiring about my inexpensive, private, local style, country condominiums.
This ocean and protected beachfront condo complex is a Hawaiian cultural experience in the country, the Leeward side of Oahu, on the Waianae Coast. We are about 1 hour (33 Miles) from the Honolulu Airport and Waikiki. The Makaha Surfside condominium is located on the Sunnyside of the island. It is walking distance to beaches, stores, tennis courts, boat harbor, library, and a 7-11. The condo is located right on the bus line. (A bargain of only $2.00 to go most anywhere). The bus has been rated #1 in the nation repeatedly. It is only about 15 minutes drive to the remote end of the island with empty beaches, dolphins, mountains, valleys, etc.

At these low prices, the Makaha Surfside is not a luxury condominium. Even though it is around 30 years old, it has been upgraded pools and exercise room. The buildings have been recently painted as well. You should enjoy the beautiful views and ocean sounds from these clean and comfortable units. You can appreciate the lovely tropical grounds and coastline. Also you can utilize the 3 swimming pools, sauna, BBQ, snack shop, pizza delivery, and laundry facilities and 24-hour security on premises. The units are conveniently located in the complex, and are wheelchair accessible.

The Makaha Surfside mountain/partial ocean view studio is 349 sq.ft. and 12 sqft. balcony. With a queen size bed and futon couch/bed, complete bathroom and full kitchen including microwave, fans, TV, A/C, CD Player, beach chairs, etc. The unit has a phone.

Area Description

located half mile from boat harbor and another half mile from waianae town. on bus line and 33 miles west of honolulu. just 2 miles east of the famous makaha surfing beach.

This ocean view studio(one BR), has a great view of Ocean and mountain view. We loved the location, it is very secure. Only concern is there is no door for the BR (at least a curtain would be recommended)

We had a great time at this property. The beach is wonderful and great for snorkling. Saw lots of Fish, Turtles and Whales. Hope to come back again.
