Description of the Makaha vacation condo rental
Makaha Valley Towers is a quiet, peaceful complex with beautifully landscaped grounds, pool, gas bbqs and barbecue dining area.
The studio is complete with full size appliances including microwave, large stove/oven, and disposal. All kitchenware and linen included. Living and dining area have panoramic ocean and valley wall views. Carpeted living room, tile entry and kitchen. Furnishings offer comfort and pleasant feel, with a Queen size Murphy bed.
Great lanai, perfect for relaxing and watching the world go by enjoying beautiful mornings and evenings.
TV with DVD and basic cable channels. 1 parking space and near elevators and laundry site. 24 hour security.
We have a small library of DVD movies and books to help with your rest and relaxation.
There is Wireless Internet available in condo.
Area Information
There is local dining and fast food and nicer dining is about 25 minutes down the road at Ko Olina properties.
You will love your experience at the Towers and it's worth the ride to be away from the crowded Honolulu and Waikiki area. Your drive along the ocean to those tourist areas will take about 45 minutes. The Honolulu airport is a lovely 45-60 minute drive to the condos.
Sea turtles and various ocean life can be viewed from Makaha Beach or Pokai Bay where snorkeling is wonderful.

Beautiful Home

I had a wonderful stay in this lovely condo. It was very nice, had everything you would need for a nice relaxing stay away from home. The condo being on the corner of the complex allowed for a beautiful view of the mountains and the ocean just off the balcony. Nani and all the staff at Makaha Valley Towers are very friendly and helpful. When ever i need a place to stay away from base, i will defiantly be giving Nani a call. Me and my fiance had a wonderful time and having this place to stay defiantly helped make it wonderful.

Your studio Apt. turned out to be the nicest I've seen at Makaha Valley Towers. Very clean, tastefully furnished and comfortable furniture, comfortable Murphy (pull-down)bed; plenty of books to read, movies to watch, and the unparalleled view from the lanai being at the West (best ) end of MVT. Large, beautiful bathroom with tub/shower combo and plenty of closet space. Nice, large kitchen area with all the needed appliances and a perfect dining table and chairs, surrounded by glass wall, seemingly suspended in the middle of the Makaha valley. Again, the view from the lanai is priceless; from the Sun breaking the mountain ridges at sunrise or sunset to the monsoon rainstorms creeping down the mountainside and across the valley floor to you. It is truly the perfect vacation getaway spot for one or two people, one we'll have to keep secret so we'll have more time to enjoy it. Mahalo for allowing me to share your Jewel of the Valley.

I arrived December 21st and stayed until the 28th. The condo was very welcoming and clean. Upon arrival I opened the curtains and spotted a rainbow! It was as if Hawaii itself was welcoming me! I stepped out onto the balcony to check out the view of the ocean. Unpacked and ended up watching the sunset from the balcony. The condo and complex was very quiet the entire time I was there. All the staff and residents were extremely friendly though I didn't see very many people the whole time I was there. The closest beach at the end of the road is wonderful. There are a few more beaches North that were nearly empty. The condo itself was the perfect size for two, though I ended up staying by myself. It was great to have the kitchen for late night snacks or breakfast. It was well stocked with utensils etc. I was very happy to arrive 'home' every evening.

I couldn't ask a better place to relax in Paradise. The location provides quietness, supreme security and management needs, friendliness among residence, fantastic ocean and mountain views and not forgetting the evening sunsets observation from the condo (end unit/facing the ocean). The condo has everything to offer to include a full kitchen to prepare any cooked meal(s) and several grills outside for wonderful BBQ - a romantic area for evening dinners. Condo is fully equipped for your personal needs and to including cable television and for relaxing a nice size swimming pool and golf courses near by. A rental car is needed, however bus transportation is available. Far as the condo has to offer is ranged from vacation time or a honeymoon.

An overall wonderful experience in the studio condo. Best view in the complex and the amenities were all there. I didn't want for a thing. Nani and Bob (owners) were there at their condo for the first week of my stay and they were very nice and gracious. I left Hawaii very rested and relaxed as a result of this no hassle stay. I would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, quiet stay in a most beautiful setting, to take advantage of this complex and Bob and Nani's units. The staff at MVT were super professional and friendly. The complex and grounds are very nicely maintained. I liked it so much, I bought a condo there.

Perfect Hideaway..

Staying at this studio created the best first Hawaii experience for me! The studio itself is a perfect size, warm and welcoming, and very accomodating (as are the owners). The studio being in the country, far away from town (Honolulu) provides it's guests with the most peaceful environment anyone could ever desire from a vacation in Hawaii! The beach down the road is one of the most beautiful on the island and the location of the studio is safe, tuked away in the country providing you with an up close experience of the natural and beautiful Oahu island. I highly recommend this studio to all visitors of Oahu!

Perfect Romantic Getaway!

Spent the first part of our holiday in busy Waikiki, but were really looking forward to three peaceful weeks in the beautiful Makaha Valley. First off, the views from this unit are spectacular. Through the large patio doors that open to a private balcony you are greeted by a lush mountain backdrop on one side and the ocean on the other. At night we could lie in bed and star-gaze, it was fantastic! The murphy bed is comfortable and folds away easily. We loved having this fold-away bed in the living room because the view and the gentle breeze were conducive to getting a good night's rest. The unit is immaculately kept (super-clean), and is well stocked with everything you'd need including ample kitchenware and bathroom amenities, books, movies, games, music, binoculars, etc.. The area is safe/secure and the grounds are very well maintained. There is laundry on every floor, a beautiful, relaxing pool (illuminated at night with torches and decorative lighting) as well as a very handy, spacious barbeque/picnic area. We could go on and on, but to sum it up, we loved it!!

On the beautiful western side of Oahu

Away from the crowds at Waikiki, the 11th floor studio apartment we stayed at in the Makaha Valley is on the corner of the building, giving it fantastic views of the valley to the east and south, and of the Pacific Ocean to the west. Out the front door are hills that have waterfalls after it rains, and the grounds have peacocks amongst the colorful tropical fauna. Nearby beaches are only crowded if a surfing event takes place in historic Makaha Beach, but there were times when we went to a beach to swim or snorkel when we were the only ones there. The location is near Kaena Point to the north, which is a great hike where we saw monk seals, whales, dolphins and albatross nesting. The studio itself is immaculate, perfect for my wife and I, with a large kitchen, lanai with the views described above, murphy bed for extra space, and a great sitting area. We kept the curtains open the entire time, watching the stars and night and the sunrise in the morning. We've stayed at Nani's condos in Waikiki as well, and all were immaculate. But we prefer Makaha for the scenery and beaches.
