snowboarding vacation

April 1, 2011

We really enjoyed the condo, it was right on the yellow line bus that takes you right to the village, a short 5 min ride. The property had all the amenities, tv, cooking utensils, towels, shampoo, etc. Nice open floor plan on the upper level, great for entertainment. The condo has a private tub, the main reason we booked the condo, after a full day of boarding you just want to relax with a beer and a hot tub. But the first night the hot tub was set to 75 deg, we did not notice...so it took along time for the tub to heat up, no tub the first night. The next night was perfect though. Overall it was an awesome stay and the record breaking snow fall made it even better. Will book this condo again!

Great hikes for all

September 21, 2010

September is a super time to be in Mammoth. Hiking at its best. Unit fit our rock climbing and hiking family and two dogs perfectly. Everyone loved cooking after long days on the trails. VERY compact unit but had everything we needed. Two bathrooms and hot tub super. The dog lawn with the disposable sacks was perfect. We will certainly come back.

Cozy Stay

August 25, 2010

The condo was very cozy and very nice. Towels, soaps, and extras were laid out nicely for us and we had a wonderful stay. Only problems we had were the small water heater that didn't keep our showers warm for long enough and also we had no idea how to get a permit for our parking and never found out. Other than that it was a very nice place and we would book again.

Nice condo!

August 22, 2010

This was a very nice condo and a bargain if at least two couples go in on the rental. The kitchen was very well equipted and overall didn't lack for anything except a baking sheet. It was nice having a high speed internet connection but there was only one plug, I suggest to the owner to put in an incripted WiFi and leave the password along with the lockbox instructions. We had a very nice trip and were pleased with the condo (pet friendly a big plus!).

Very nice condo. Bedrooms down stairs and living room kitchen upstaire. Very quite. Shower upstairs need ne shower head.(Minor) The only real problem is gettingfrom the parking up to the condo with snow and ice on the ground. Up hill and when the snow turned into ice it was difficult to get up and down.. There were ropes attached to the trees for safty but difficut when carring luggage or grocies. Condo was grest. Would rent again - maybe not in winter, unless there was some type of walkway

Great Location

March 9, 2010

My recent stay here was all for hitting the slopes and the convenient location of this place to the yellow bus line that takes you to eagle lodge or the village was the best. of course, besides the hot tub to ease the full days on the slopes.

good

September 8, 2009

We had no difficulties finding or getting into the condo. However the condo was musty smelling and the bathroom and kitchen rugs needed a good wash. The towels were nice and bright and clean but the bedspreads smelled. The sofa and chair certainly needed to be updated as they were very worn and smelled. The dishwasher was clean and functional as was the refrig. We left windows cracked to try and air the place out. But it was a great location, nobody bothered us and we had a great time!

RECONNECT WITH FAMILY TIME

September 2, 2009

Two teenagers left at home. Everyone going in different directions. Time to reconnect. This was a perfect four days to play, talk, reconnect. The condo was close to fishing, hiking, town, and so so much beauty. Isn`t God`s creations beautiful? The hot tub was a perfect topper to the perfect days together. Cant wait to go again.

Quiet Family Retreat

August 26, 2009

The condo was very comfortable and spacious. We had two adults and two children. Be prepared to haul everything from the car to the condo because parking is a problem and you have to climb a hill (without sidewalks)to get to the unit. The downstairs bathroom toilet is not "seated", so it wiggles around, and the flusher sticks. The upstairs bath is very small, but still has a small shower. Since I cooked, I found more pots and pans were needed, as were drinking glasses (no wine glasses!). But you learn to improvise. Appliances are great. Convenient location and lovely hot tub in downstairs patio. There is no pool in the small complex. Overall, it was a wonderful value.

Great Place To Stay

August 16, 2009

This condo is a great find! It is very clean, nicely decorated, a great location and an incredible price. We will come back here next summer for our annual bike trip! If there is a flaw in this place it would be the parking. It is on the street level which is no problem, you just have to carry everything UP to the condo which is a good little hike. Other than that it perfect.

Very nice condo!

June 5, 2009

What a great, very comfortable condo! The kitchen has everthing you may need and appears to be recently upgraded. Wood-burning fireplace is perfect and easy to start. The manager was very helpful and helped us through a rough car repair problem. We'll be back!

Awesome time in Mammoth

April 21, 2009

This condo was perfect...We had 4 adults and 2 kids and there was more than enough room. The jacuzzi was awesome after a hard day on the slopes!! We would definitely rent this condo again..Close to everything and VERY clean with Plenty of Linens. We had a BLAST!!!!!!!!

April 6, 2009

Very nice condo. Comfortable king-size bed. Enjoyed the private hot tub. Loved that we could bring our dog. Nothing but good things to say about this place except the accessability to the door is difficult (an icy incline--very slippery when hauling skis, etc.)

Definitely a great place to go!!!

February 3, 2009

I planned this trip for my boyfriends birthday and I was extremely satisfied with the place. They lay out of the condo was perfect. The rooms were separate from the living area and kitchen. It had a very open feeling. An extra table/chairs were supplied. Brand new appliances in the kitchen, everything looked clean. The jacuzzi was awesome and I don't think we could have gotten any closer to the lift without being right next to it. Two shuttle stops just a hundred feet away or so to bring you to the lifts. It was almost perfect. It felt like home. Tip for visitors: Don't forget ice when you go to the store...we were lucky we remembered. Also...hopefully you know how to work a wood stove. Guess we are really young and didn't know what were were doing so we couldn't get it to start lol. But overall an amazing place for a really great price. I will definitely look at coming back here next time I visit

mammoth rocks

October 24, 2008

The condo location is walking distance to anything you want. Lots of room for six people but room for more. The kitchen had everything you might need, including spices. The rugs need help but other than that the condo was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was perfect after a day of play!

Great Condo at a great price!!

August 24, 2008

The pictures really don't do this place justice. I was hoping for the best and we got it. The cabin was nice for 125 a night!! We enjoyed it here and would definitely stay there again. Great location and a great spa. The only little issue was the showers were a bit weak, especially the one on the second floor. It was nothing we couldn't handle though. Overall a great experience and I will definitely recommend this place to others.

Elegant Vacation

August 15, 2008

We rejoiced from the moment we turned the condo key that we had found such a elegant and pet-friendly home for our Mammoth holiday. The color scheme is warm and welcoming. The living/kitchen/ great room provided a wonderful opportunity for all family cooking which we love to do. In addition to the fun of our regular meals, we had a festive dinner one evening with other family members who were also staying in Mammoth. Needless to say, they were very impressed with our accommodations. We were able to hike, kayak, go horseback riding and still come home after a long day to elegance, grace and a steamy hot shower. There was only one limitation. The condo did not have a vac cleaner. We only had a broom for cleaning purposes. I hope this will be available to other guests in the future. Thank you for a breathtaking five day vacation in one of our favorite places in the world. Blessings, Susan

Convenient and comfortable

July 21, 2008

This was a great base for hiking the various Eastern Sierra trails. The condo is close to town and our group of 4 was very comfortable. Minor nitpicks: --no bedside lamps for reading - the overhead lights are harsh; --the small deck is not inviting for sitting, crowded with firewood and had an old trashbag in the corner full of something; --bedrooms are downstairs, and you can hear people walking in the living area, which may be a problem for light sleepers and groups with different sleeping habits. However, we'd definitely rent again!

A choice condo....

July 14, 2008

This Condo has great potential for the avid outdoors person. Want a great vacation with easy access to Mammoth Mountain and to the town below. This Condo is for you. Private hot tub is a definite plus. Only thing I would change is the automatic light sensor outside. When you use the hot tub at nite the light will go on. Maybe if you contact the Manager of the complex, he'll turn it off for you.

Mammoth Weekend

June 18, 2008

The unit was very clean once we got in. We were given the wrong combination, and had to call the emergencey number to get the correct combo. The clothes dryer did not work. Beds in 2nd bedroom very uncomfortable..lumpy and hard. They need more than to just be turned over. Also no closet in 2nd bedroom..not even hooks on the wall to hang clothes. Had to lay them on a bed. No nightstand or lamp..had to take a nightstand from master bedroom. Very low water pressure. Could not take showers without waiting for the water to heat up after 1 shower. Shower in the upstairs bathroom could not be used because of low water pressure. Living room furniture was not comfortable..very soft and seemed broken down. DSL was VERY slow.

Nice place

March 27, 2008

The unit was conveniently located and very new and clean. we appreciated that it allowed dogs, but there were a lot of owners who left a ton of surprises on the lawn in front of our unit. Also, the internet access didn't work, so we were a bit disappointed to have brought our laptops. Otherwise, nice place to stay.

Great location ski condo.

January 15, 2008

This spot is in a perfect location. It might be the highest condo on the mountain and it is great to ski in and out. The trail back to the place from the lifts is gorgeous. The owners are great, easy to work with and helpful. It is well-equipped and comfortably furnished. The only thing I would improve is the bed in Bedroom #2, which is a not-so-comfortable pull-out. I am a big guy, and it was a little uncomfortable. However, I would still go back to this rental, no question.
