Description of the Mammoth Lakes vacation condo rental

Our 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo is conveniently situated along Lakeview Road within walking distance to the new Village and Mammoth Mountain Gondola and just steps from the free shuttle.

Recently renovated and beautifully decorated, it gets plenty of light and is perfect for couples and small families. Prepare a home-cooked meal in the fully-equipped kitchen, cozy up with a movie in front of a warm fire, or take in the stars as you stroll to Mammoth Village, where restaurants, shopping and nightlife await you.

The spacious living room is centered around a wood-burning fireplace, which comes in handy for cool mountain evenings. With new furnishings, new carpet and plenty of light, the living room is a place to get comfortable and enjoy a DVD or just watch the snow fall.

The relaxing master bedroom features a Queen-sized bed with new lodge-style furnishings, fine linens, a flat screen television with cable and DVD player and ample closet space. The bedroom window overlooks the balcony and trees. For additional guests, there is a Queen convertible/fold-out sofa in the living room.


Recently upgraded and fully-equipped, the kitchen features new countertops, slate floors, stainless appliances and all the amenities of a brand-new home. Enjoy meals in the dining area, at the kitchen island or on the balcony among the peaceful pines.

Nestled in the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains, the town of Mammoth Lakes boasts one of the largest ski resorts in the world and plenty of snow.

Getting here is easy with virtually no winding mountain roads!

Mammoth is approx 3 hours south of Reno and 5-6 hours north of LA/Orange Counties.

Plus, Horizon/Alaska Air begins daily flight service to Mammoth airport (MMH) from LAX beginning December 18, 2008!

The Village area is Mammoth's newest destination for shopping, dining, apres ski and nightlife/entertainment. An open-air pedestrian pathway, the Village is home to upscale restaurants, boutiques, galleries and other specialty stores, in addition to the Mammoth Mountain Gondola, connecting the town of Mammoth Lakes to the Ski Area. The Village also provides services such as equipment rentals, lift ticket sales and an activity desk.

The condo is in a good location, about three blocks from the Canyon Village gondola. The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious. The entire condo is well maintained and very clean, with new furniture and appliances. Overall, a very comfortable place to stay, even with four people.

We absolutely loved the place. It was clean, cozy, and very chic. We loved the fact that it was a walking distance to The Village and the Gondola. We even ventured out and walked from the Canyon Lodge to the condo... we were surprised at how close it was! We will definitely be coming back!
